WEBCOMIC DESIGN ABOUT PANEMBAHAN RONGGOSUKOWATI AND JOKOPITURUN

Komik web sangat populer di masa pandemi seperti sekarang ini terutama dikalangan remaja penggemar komik. Komik web biasanya berisi cerita dengan berbagai macam genre, diantaranya bergenre Drama, Fantasi, Romantis dan Aksi yang terinspirasi dari film maupun berdasarkan hasil imajinasi pembuatnya. dalam cerita komik web sangat jarang yang mengangkat tentang cerita lokal termasuk cerita lokal Indonesia, Sehingga perlu cerita lokal Indonesia diangkat pada komik web supaya remaja mengenal dan bangga akan Negaranya. Salah satu cerita lokal Indonesia adalah cerita tentang Sejarah Pamekasan. Seorang tokoh yang sangat berpengaruh dalam sejarah berdirinya Pamekasan adalah Raja Ronggosukowati. Kisah perjuangan Raja Ronggosukowati harus direka ulang melalui pendekatan media yang digemari remaja masa kini, termasuk remaja di Pamekasan dalam bentuk komik web. Metode perancangan berupa pengumpulan data, identifikasi data, analisis 5W + 1H, visualisasi dan validasi. Tujuan perancangan ini yaitu mendeskripsikan konsep perancangan, mendeskripsikan proses perancangan, dan memvisualisasikan dalam bentuk komik web tentang cerita sejarah Panembahan Ronggosukowati dan Jokopiturun. Hasil perancangan ini adalah komik genre aksi bertemakan sejarah Pamekasan dengan cerita berfokus pada kisah Raja Ronggosukowati dan keris pusakanya JokoPiturun dalam bentuk digital di Platform Webtoon secara vertical dari atas ke bawah. komik web terdiri dari 2 episode bersambung dengan gambar ilustrasi penuh warna. Web comics are very popular during the current pandemic, especially among young comic fans. Web comics usually contain stories with various genres, including the Drama, Fantasy, Romance and Action genres that are inspired by films or based on the imagination of the creator. In web comic stories, it is very rare that local stories include local Indonesian stories, so it is necessary that local Indonesian stories be raised in web comics so that teenagers know and are proud of their country. One of the local Indonesian stories is the story of the History of Pamekasan. A very influential figure in the history of the founding of Pamekasan was King Ronggosukowati. The story of the struggle of King Ronggosukowati must be reconstructed through a media approach favored by today's youth, including teenagers in Pamekasan in the form of web comics. The design method is in the form of data collection, data identification, 5W + 1H analysis, visualization and validation. The purpose of this design is to describe the design concept, describe the design process, and visualize in the form of a web comic about the historical stories of Panembahan Ronggosukowati and Jokopiturun. The result of this design is an action genre comic with the theme of Pamekasan history with a story focusing on the story of King Ronggosukowati and his heirloom kris Joko Piturun in digital form on the Webtoon Platform vertically from top to bottom.
