Aktivitas Siswa Kelas Akselerasi Menjelang Sumatif Akhir Semester pada Mata Pelajaran IPA: Studi Kasus di SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo
Student Activities of Acceleration Classes Ahead of the End of Semester Summative in Science Subjects: A Case Study at State Junior High School 1 Sidoarjo
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan aktivitas siswa kelas akselerasi dan siswa yang mendapatkan nilai tertinggi, sedang, dan terendah menjelang Sumatif Akhir Semester ganjil pada mata pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deksriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan sasaran yaitu siswa kelas akselerasi dan 1 guru IPA SMP Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket respon siswa, wawancara respon siswa, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa kelas akselerasi yaitu belajar dilakukan 33 siswa, belajar setiap hari dilakukan 20 siswa, mengikuti bimbingan belajar dilakukan 21 siswa, belajar bersama teman dilakukan 16 siswa, membuat jadwal belajar dilakukan 19 siswa, berolahraga dilakukan 4 siswa, mengikuti ekstrakurikuler 7 siswa, mengikuti kegiatan di luar sekolah oleh 11 siswa, sarapan sebelum pelaksanaan ujian dilakukan 25 siswa, 33 siswa dalam kondisi fisik yang sehat, dan 20 siswa dalam kondisi emosional yang senang. Aktivitas siswa kelas akselerasi yang mendapatkan nilai tertinggi yaitu belajar 1-3 hari, belajar bersama teman, satu siswa tersebut membuat jadwal belajar, satu siswa tersebut mengikuti bimbingan belajar, satu siswa sarapan, dalam kondisi fisik yang sehat, serta dalam kondisi emosional yang senang. Aktivitas siswa kelas akselerasi yang mendapatkan nilai sedang yaitu belajar 1 hari, mengikuti bimbingan belajar, satu siswa tersebut belajar bersama teman, sarapan, dalam kondisi fisik yang sehat, serta satu siswa dalam kondisi emosional yang senang. Aktivitas siswa kelas akselerasi yang mendapatkan nilai terendah yaitu satu siswa tersebut belajar 2 hari, sarapan, berolahraga 1-4 kali seminggu, satu siswa mengikuti kegiatan di luar sekolah yaitu basket, serta dalam kondisi fisik yang sehat.

The purpose of this study is to explain the activities of students in acceleration classes and students who get the highest, medium, and lowest scores ahead of the Odd Semester End Summative in Science subjects. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. This research involves the targets, namely students of the acceleration class and 1 science teacher of State Junior High School 1 Sidoarjo. The research instruments used were student response questionnaires, student response interviews, and teachers. The results of the study showed that the activities of the students of the acceleration class were learning for 33 students, studying every day for 20 students, following tutoring for 21 students, learning with friends for 16 students, making a study schedule for 19 students, exercising for 4 students, participating in extracurricular activities for 7 students, participating in extracurricular activities for 11 students, breakfast before the exam for 25 students, 33 students are in good physical condition, and 20 students are in a happy emotional state. The activities of the accelerated class students who received the highest scores were studying for 1-3 days, studying with friends, one student making a study schedule, one student following tutoring, one student having breakfast, in a healthy physical condition, and in a happy emotional state. The activities of accelerated class students who get moderate scores are 1 day of study, following tutoring, one student studying with friends, having breakfast, in a healthy physical condition, and one student in a happy emotional state. The activities of the acceleration class students who received the lowest scores were one student studying 2 days, having breakfast, exercising 1-4 times a week, one student participating in activities outside of school, namely basketball, and in a healthy physical condition.
