ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK FISIK ATLET SMANOR SIDOARJO DAN ATLET TRAINNING CENTRE (TC) KHUSUS PENGPROV PERSATUAN ATLETIK SELURUH INDONESIA (PASI) JAWA TIMUR TERHADAP PRESTASI CABANG OLAHRAGA ATLETIK NOMOR LARI JARAK PENDEK

Analysis of Correlation between Physical  Characteristic and Athelete Performance on Student Athelete SMANOR Sidoarjo and Specific TC Athelete East Java Pengprov PASI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis korelasi antara karakteristik fisik yang terdiri dari Cardiorespiratory fitness yang dilihat dari nilai VO2max, Endurance, Power,  Kelentukan, dan Indeks massa Tubuh (IMT) dengan capaian prestasi atlet SMANOR Sidoarjo dan atlet TC Khusus Pengprov PASI Jawa Timur pada Jatim Open 2019.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Expost Facto. Sehingga data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, yang didapatkan dari laboratorium olahraga Achilles Sports Science and Fitness Centre Unesa Surabaya (SSFC). Data pada penelitian ini tidak mengikuti distribusi normal, sehingga analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis non parametrik. Yaitu Mann Whitney test  dan Kruskall Wallis - H  untuk melakukan uji beda pada variabel. Dan Rank Spearman Test  untuk melakukan uji korelasi antar variabel bebas (karakteristik fisik) dan terikatnya (prestasi). 

Data yang didapatkan adalah nilai Asymp Sig.(2-tailed) untuk melihat uji beda pada atlet TC Khusus dangan atlet SMANOR Sidoarjo, VO2max 0.533, Endurance 0.212, Power 0.349, Kelentukan 0.058, dan IMT ) 0.755 sedangkan untuk korelasi antar variabel bebas dan terikatnya VO2max -0.735*,  Endurance 0.376, Power 0.376, Kelentukan -0.017, dan IMT -0.325. sedangkan pada atlet SMANOR Sidoarjo nilai   mendapatkan nilai korelasi antar variabel VO2max -0.894, Endurance -0.894, Power -0.894, Kelentukan 0.894, dan IMT -0.894.   

Hasil diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa; (1) tidak terdapat beda antara karakterisitik fisik dari atlet TC Khusus dan atlet SMANOR Sidoarjo; (2) Variabel VO2max memiliki korelasi  yang konsisten kuat dan signifikan dengan variabel prestasi baik untuk atlet SMANOR Sidoarjo maupun TC khusus.

The purpose of this research is to investigate if there are relationships between Physical Characteristic represent with the score of Cardiorespiratory fitness (VO2max), Endurance, Power, Flexibility, Body Mass Index (BMI) and performance of athlete from SMANOR Sidoarjo and Spesific TC Athlete East Java Pengprov PASI . At the event of Jatim Open 2019.

This is  A Quantitative Research with the Expost Facto model. The data used in this research are secondary data gathered from Achilles Sports Science and Fitness Centre (SSFC) Sports Laboratory of Unesa database. The data in this research not follow the normal distribution, so the statistical analysis conducted with non parametric model. The use Mann Whitney and Kruskall Walls H to test the different between variable and Rank Spearmann test to do the correlation analysis.

On the Mann Whiteney and Kruskall walls H Asimp. Sig. value the data collected respectively VO2max, Endurance, Power, Felxibility, BMI, are 0.533, 0.212, 0.349, 0.058, and 0.755. and the coefficients correlation data respectively -0.735*, 0.376, 0.376, -0.017, -0.325 for the specific TC Athelete and -0.894, 0.894, -0.894, 0.894, and -0.894 for the SMANOR Student Athelete.

The result shows that: (1) there are no difference on physical characteristic and athelete performance between Specific TC athelete and SMANOR Student Athelete; (2) the Vo2mx variable value shows high correlation between dependent and independent variable and proven statistically significant for the Specific TC Athelete and Student Athelete SMANOR Sidoarjo
