APPLICATION OF STAD TYPE COOPERATIVE
LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE COLLABORATION CAPABILITY AND LEARNING OUTCOMES OF XI

This research is motivated by learning that still uses
conventional methods that are only teacher-centered. If this is done
continuously without involving students, it will affect student learning
outcomes. Therefore the STAD type cooperative learning model was implemented
with the aim to find out how collaboration skills and student learning outcomes
with the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model on AC Car subjects in SMKN
1 Arosbaya Bangkalan.
This type of research is PTK Kemmis and Mc Taggart
models with the cycle method performed twice. The material for the first cycle
of construction and the main components of the car ac while the second cycle is
how it works and the maintenance of the car ac system. The subjects of this
study were students of class XI TKR 1 of SMK 1 Arosbaya. Exposure from each cycle
has four stages of activity, namely planning, action, observation, and
reflection. The data analysis technique used the pre-test, posttest, LKS, and
observation sheets of collaboration skills.
Based on the analysis of the results of the study, it
was shown that the classical learning completeness of students in Cycle I
reached a percentage of 63.15%, in Cycle II it reached 89.47% while the results
of student collaboration skills in the first cycle were 71.50%, in cycle II 80,
75%. From the data that has been analyzed, it can be concluded that the
implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve
collaboration skills and student learning outcomes.
