Masa kanak-kanak usia 5-6 tahun merupakan periode penting dalam perkembangan kognitif dan sosial emosional anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode farming gardening project terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep ukuran pada anak usia 5-6 tahun; (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode farming gardening project terhadap kemampuan kerja sama pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua lembaga yaitu TK Al- Hidayah 25 Mangaran sebagai kelas eksperimen dan TK Al-Hidayah Pancakarya sebagai kelas kontrol. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 40 anak (dengan rincian 20 anak TK Al-Hidayah 25 Mangaran dan 20 anak TK Al-Hidayah Pancakarya Kecamatan Ajung Kabupaten Jember). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan berupa pedoman observasi. Kisi-kisi instrumen penelitian ini mengacu pada Permendikbud RI No.137 tahun 2014 serta menurut jurnal ilmiah dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik uji shapiro wilk dengan bantuan program JASP karena sampel kurang dari 50.
Penelitian menunjukkan: (1) hasil penelitian kemampuan mengenal konsep ukuran sebelum perlakuan rerata 4,2 sedangkan skor sudah perlakuan rerata 8,5. Skor kemampuan kerja sama sebelum pelaksanaan rerata 4,425 sedangkan skor sesudah perlakuan rerata 8,5 untuk kemampuan kerja sama; (2) hasil uji normalitas diperoleh nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 maka disimpulkan penelitian ini berdistribusi tidak normal. Maka selanjutnya dilakukan uji homogenitas pretest dan posttest pada kemampuan mengenal konsep ukuran memiliki skor diatas 0,05 dan skor kemampuan kerja sama memiliki skor diatas 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan homogen; (3) hasil uji hipotesis skor p kurang dari 0,001 sehingga p lebih kecil dari pada 0,05 yang artinya hipotesis diterima. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode farming gardening project berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep ukuran dan kemampuan kerja sama anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Childhood 5-6 years old is period important in development cognitive and social emotional child. This research aims: (1) to determine the effect of the farming gardening project method on the ability to recognize the concept of size in children aged 5-6 years; (2) to determine the effect of the farming gardening project method on the cooperative abilities of children aged 5-6 years. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method. This research was conducted in two institutions, namely Al-Hidayah 25 Mangaran kindergarten as an experimental class and Al-Hidayah Pancakarya kindergarten as a control class. The research subject were 40 children aged 5-6 years (with details of 20 children from Al-Hidayah 25 Mangaran kindergarten and 20 Al-Hidayah Pancakarya kindergarten children). Data collection techniques use observation and ducumentation. In this research, the instrument used was an observation guide. The grid of this research instrumen refers to the minister of education and culture of the republic of indonesia regulation No.137 of 2014 as well as according to scientific journals and was analyzed using the Shapiro Wilk test technique with the help of the JASP program because the sample was less than 50.
The research shows: (1) The result of the research were that the ability to recognize the concept of size before treatment was an average of 4,2, while the average score after treatment was 8,5. The average score for cooperation ability before treatment was 4,425, while the score after treatment average 8,5 for cooperation ability; (2) The normality test results obtained a significance value of less than 0,05, so it was concluded that this research had an abnormal distribution. so next, a pretest and posttest homogeneity test is carried out on the ability to recognize the concept of size, which has a score above 0,05 and the cooperative ability score has a score above 0,05, so it can be said to be homogeneous; (3) the results of the hypothesis test score p is less than 0,001 so that p is smaller than 0,05 which means the hypotesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that the farming gardening project method influences the ability to recognize the concept of size and the ability to work together in children aged 5-6 years.
