IMPLEMENTASI ZAKAT PRODUKTIF BERBASIS KEWIRAUSAHAAN DI LEMBAGA AMIL ZAKAT MUHAMMADIYAH SIDOARJO

IMPLEMENTATION OF PRODUCTIVE ZAKAT BASED ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT THE MUHAMMADIYAH SIDOARJO ZAKAT AMIL INSTITUTION

     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi zakat produktif berbasis kewirausahaan di Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi, penelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik mustahik yang berpartisipasi dalam program zakat produktif serta efektivitas program dalam pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pengurus LAZISMU dan mustahik yang terlibat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mustahik memiliki latar belakang beragam dengan motivasi kuat untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi melalui kewirausahaan. Program zakat produktif terbukti efektif dalam mendukung mustahik dalam mengembangkan usaha, meskipun masih ada tantangan dalam aspek manajemen dan akses terhadap informasi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi pemberdayaan yang lebih optimal melalui zakat produktif di masa depan.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of productive zakat based on entrepreneurship at the Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo Institution. Using qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach, this research examines the characteristics of mustahik who participate in productive zakat programs as well as the effectiveness of the program in empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Data was collected through in-depth interviews with LAZISMU administrators and the mustahik involved. The research results show that mustahik have diverse backgrounds with strong motivation to improve economic welfare through entrepreneurship. The productive zakat program has proven effective in supporting mustahik in developing their businesses, although there are still challenges in aspects of management and access to information. It is hoped that these findings can contribute to the development of more optimal empowerment strategies through productive zakat in the future.
