Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis multiple representasi yang layak untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas X SMA. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4-D dengan desain uji coba one group pretest-posttest design. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Uji coba dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas X MIPA 1 dan 2 SMA Trimurti Surabaya pada subpokok bahasan bentuk molekul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) validitas isi RPP, BAS, LKS, THB aspek pengetahuan berkategori baik; (2) tingkat keterbacaan BAS dan LKS berkategori baik; (3) keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik; (4) aktivitas siswa menunjukkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa; (5) respon siswa positif terhadap proses pembelajaran; dan (6) siswa mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar yang tinggi dengan nilai t hitung -0,759 dan signifikansi 0,452, artinya n-gain kedua kelas tidak berbeda dan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut konsisten. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran Kimia model kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis multiple representasi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA pada subpokok bahasan bentuk molekul layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

This research aims to obtain the feasible chemistry teaching material using the cooperative learning model with STAD type based on multiple representation to improve students learning outcomes on the molecular geometry. The teaching materials consist of lesson plans, student book, worksheet, and concept mastery test were developed using the four D models. The subjects of the research were students of X MIPA 1 and 2 SMA Trimurti Surabaya. The tryout of the teaching materials used one-group pretest-posttest design. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed : (1) the validity of the lesson plans, student book, worksheet, concept mastery test are very valid category (2) the readability of student book and worksheet were good category (3) learning performance is good category; (4) students activity refer to students centered learning; (5) majority of students give the positive response to learning process; and (6) students achieved mastery of learning with t-test score -0.759 and sig. 0.452, that means n-gain score of two classes are not different, and the teaching material is consistent. Based on the results of research it could be concluded that the chemistry teaching materials developed were feasible to improve the students learning outcomes on molecular geometry
