MINAT MAHASISWA PRODI PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN, FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNESA TERHADAP PEKERJAAN PROFESI GURU VOKASI
THE INTEREST OF STUDENT ENGINEERING EDUCATION STUDIES PROGRAM, UNESA FACULTY OF ENGINEERING ON VOCATIONAL TEACHER PROFESSIONAL WORK
Minat merupakan salah satu faktor psikologis manusia yang sangat penting untuk kemajuan manusia dan keberhasilan pada diri seseorang. Minat merupakan pendorong bagi seseorang untuk terlibat secara aktif dan mengarahkan perhatian pada objek yang ia sukai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat, faktor internal, dan faktor eksternal dalam memilih pekerjaan profesi guru vokasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 246 mahasiswa dan peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 50 persen dari populasi atau 123 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan tabel frekuensi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat minat Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Surabaya pada variabel minat menjadi guru vokasi berada dikategori sedang sebanyak 62 mahasiswa (50%), pada variabel faktor internal berada dikategori tinggi sebanyak 83 mahasiswa (67%), dan pada variabel faktor internal berada dikategori sedang sebanyak 79 mahasiswa (64%). kemudian dari pengaruhnya di dapatkan bahwa faktor internal terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menjadi guru vokasi Mahasiswa S1 Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Surabaya bahwa t hitung > t tabel (12,47 > 1,65754). Dan pada faktor eksternal terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menjadi guru vokasi Mahasiswa S1 Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Surabaya t hitung (10,158) > t tabel (1,658). Selanjutnya Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal secara bersama-sama terhadap minat menjadi guru vokasi dengan sumbangan relatif faktor internal sebesar 73,19% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 42,37%. Sumbangan relatif faktor eksternal sebesar 26,81% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 15,53%.

Interest is one of the human psychological factors that are very important for human progress and success in a person. Interest is a driving force for someone to be actively involved and direct attention to the object he likes. The purpose of this study was to determine the interests, internal factors, and external factors in choosing vocational teacher professional jobs. This study uses a quantitative approach to descriptive quantitative types. The population in this study were 246 students and researchers took a sample of 50 percent of the population or 123 people. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique using frequency tables. Based on the results of research, the level of interest of students in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Surabaya, in the variable of interest in being a vocational teacher is in the moderate category as many as 62 students (50%), the internal factors variable is in the high category as many as 83 students (67%) Internal factor variables are in the medium category as many as 79 students (64%). Then from the effect it is found that internal factors have a positive and significant influence on the interest in becoming a vocational teacher for Undergraduate Students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Surabaya that t count> t table (12.47> 1.65754). And on external factors there is a positive and significant influence on the interest in becoming a vocational teacher for Undergraduate Students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Surabaya t count (10,158)> t table (1.658). Furthermore, there is a positive and significant influence of internal and external factors together on the interest in becoming a vocational teacher with the relative contribution of internal factors of 73.19% and an effective contribution of 42.37%. The relative contribution of external factors was 26.81% and the effective contribution was 15.53%.
