PENGGUNAAN METODE MULTISENSORI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBEDAKAN PELAFALAN KONSONAN BILABIAL SISWA TUNARUNGUÂ
THE USE OF MULTISENSORY METHODS ON THE ABILITY TO DISTINGUISH BILABIAL CONSONANTS IN DEAF STUDENTS
Siswa tunarungu memiliki hambatan pendengaran, sehingga mengalami kesulitan membedakan pelafalan konsonan bilabial. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan metode multisensori terhadap kemampuan membedakan pelafalan konsonan bilabial siswa tunarungu. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian delapan siswa tunarungu kelas 1, 2, dan 3 di SDLB Bina Wiyata Putra Situbondo. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Match Pair Test. Analisis data menggunakan statistik non parametrik didapatkan hasil nilai Zhitung 2,52 lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan Ztabel 1,96 dengan nilai kritis 5%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan metode multisensori terhadap kemampuan membedakan pelafalan konsonan bilabial siswa tunarungu di SDLB Bina Wiyata Putra Situbondo.

Deaf students have hearing impairments, so they have difficulty distinguishing the pronunciation of bilabial consonants. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of using the multisensory method on the ability to distinguish the pronunciation of the bilabial consonants of deaf students. quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were eight deaf students in grades 1, 2, and 3 at SDLB Bina Wiyata Putra Situbondo. The Wilcoxon Match Pair Test was used to analyze the research data. Data analysis using non-parametric statistics showed that the Zcount value was 2.52, which was greater than Ztable 1.96 with a critical value of 5%. Based on this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the multisensory method on the ability to distinguish the pronunciation of bilabial consonants for deaf students at SDLB Bina Wiyata Putra Situbondo.
