Learning Cycle 7-E is the collection of the steps in the learning
process which has Elicit, Engagement,
Exploration, Elaboration, Evaluation, and Extend. Each stage of the 7E Learning Cycle aims to solve a problem
by observing, interpreting, classifying, predicting, experimenting, applying
concepts, and applying advanced questions that can practice science process
skills. The purpose of this study was to produce a Learning
Cycle 7-E oriented e-LKPD on the seed germination sub-material to improve
the science process skills of students in grade XII SMA that were feasible
based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness to support the learning
process at school. The e-LKPD developed use a 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate)
without a Disseminate stages. The development
research was carried out in a limited manner with 20 students in class XII IPA
2 SMA Negeri 1 Tarik Sidoarjo. The criteria of this study include the validity seen from
the results of the experts, the practicality seen from the activities of students, and
the effectiveness seen from the validation results of experts, science process skills,
and students' responses. Data analysis was descriptive quantitative. The results showed that
the validity of the e-LKPD developed was 97.49 with a very feasible category.
The practicality of e-LKPD based on observations of student activities gets a
result of 80.08% for e-LKPD 1 with the practical category and 97.08% for e-LKPD
2 with the very practical category. The effectiveness seen from the learning
outcomes of students reached an increase of 90% with an average score of 100%, the science process
skills of students reached 91%, and the response of students reached 97.4% in
the positive category.
