Makna tunanetra bagi remaja pasca melihat dilatarbelakangi oleh cerita seseorang yang mengalami ketuannetraan pada saat remaja, yang saat ini berhasil menemukan makna dibalik semua cobaan yang pernah dialaminya dulu. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendekripsikan (1) gambaran awal seorang remaja melalui masa transisi saat diputuskan tunanetra, (2) upaya seorang remaja memenuhi harapan-harapan hidupnya, (3) makna tunanetra bagi remaja pasca melihat.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentas. Rancangan penelitian ini terdiri atas Pre-field work, yang dilanjutkan dengan In the field yang terdiri atas Gtting In, Getting, Long, Getting Out, yang dilanjutkan Categoring dan Codding, findings Hingga mendapatkan Conclusions.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) ketika berusia 13 tahun NH mengalami kecelakaan saat melakukan teknik rolling didalam pembelajaran olahraga, ia lalu menjadi terpuruk dan menyalahkan tuhan, (2) penerimaan dirinya dimulai ketika sang ayah mulai menyadarkannya untuk kembali kejalan tuhan, (3) NH mulai menemukan makna dari ketunanetraannya dan berhasil menjadi satu-staunya tunanetra yang lolos SBMPTN pada tahun 2017.

The meaning of the blind for post-viewing adolescents is motivated by the story of someone who experienced blindness as a teenager, who now managed to find the meaning behind all the trials he had experienced before. This study aims to describe (1) the initial description of a teenager through a transition period when a blind person is decided, (2) an adolescent's efforts to fulfill his life expectancies, (3) the meaning of the blind for post-viewing adolescents.
This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research. The research data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The design of this study consisted of Pre-field work, which was followed by In the field consisting of Gtting In, Getting, Long, Getting Out, followed by Categoring and Codding, findings Until getting Conclusions.
The results of this study show that (1) when a 13-year-old NH had an accident while rolling techniques in sports learning, he then became slumped and blamed God, (2) his self-acceptance began when his father began to revive him to return to the path of God, (3) NH began to discover the meaning of its visual blindness and managed to become the only blind person who passed the SBMPTN in 2017.
