Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pembelajaran IPS di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang didominasi pendekatan teacher centered dan metode ceramah, mengakibatkan siswa pasif dan kurang termotivasi, serta kesulitan mengaplikasikan konsep IPS dalam kehidupan nyata, sehingga hasil belajar tidak optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran terpadu tipe connected yang valid dan layak, mendeskripsikan efektivitas penerapannya, dan menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang mengadopsi model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian adalah 40 siswa Kelas IV di SD Negeri 3 Baron. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi Capaian Pembelajaran (CP), Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP), Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP), Modul Ajar, Bahan Ajar Siswa (BAS), Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan Lembar Penilaian (LP).
Hasil validasi oleh tim ahli menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran terpadu tipe connected yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan layak dengan persentase validasi mencapai 89,5% (Sangat Layak). Penerapan perangkat di kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Baron menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi, dibuktikan dengan persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 92,86% dan respons positif siswa sebesar 87,5%. Peningkatan signifikan terjadi pada hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan perangkat pembelajaran. Rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 55,75 (ketuntasan klasikal 25,00%), meningkat menjadi 82,50 pada post-test (ketuntasan klasikal 92,86%). Kenaikan sebesar 26,75 poin ini diperkuat oleh nilai Normalized Gain (0,604) yang berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti Hipotesis Alternatif (Ha) diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran terpadu tipe connected efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS pada siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

This research is motivated by the problem of social science learning in fourth grade elementary schools, which is dominated by a teacher-centered approach and lecture methods. This results in students being passive and unmotivated, as well as having difficulty applying social science concepts in real life, leading to suboptimal learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to develop valid and feasible connected-type integrated learning devices, describe the effectiveness of their application, and analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes.
This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) method that adopts the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects of the research were 40 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Baron. The learning devices developed include Learning Achievements (CP), Learning Objectives (TP), Learning Objective Flow (ATP), Teaching Modules, Student Teaching Materials (BAS), Student Activity Sheets (LKPD), and Assessment Sheets (LP).
The results of validation by a team of experts indicated that the developed connected-type integrated learning devices were valid and feasible, with a validation percentage reaching 89.5% (Very Feasible). The application of the devices in the fourth grade at SD Negeri 3 Baron showed a high level of effectiveness, as evidenced by the percentage of learning implementation of 92.86% and positive student responses of 87.5%. A significant increase occurred in student learning outcomes after the application of the learning devices. The average pre-test score was 55.75 (classical completeness of 25.00%), increasing to 82.50 on the post-test (classical completeness of 92.86%). This increase of 26.75 points was reinforced by a Normalized Gain value of 0.604, which is in the medium category. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It is concluded that connected-type integrated learning devices are significantly effective in improving social science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students in elementary school.
