EKSPLORASI FABRIC SLASHING MANIPULATION PADA BLAZER BERBAHAN LATEX SYNTHETIC LEATHER
EXPLORATION OF FABRIC SLASHING MANIPULATIONIN BLAZERS MADE FROM LATEX SYNTHETIC LEATHER
Keunikan produk fashion dapat diciptakan dengan berbagai cara salah satunya melalui manipulating fabric. Penerapan teknik fabric slashing manipulation pada berbagai inovasi produk fashion dengan bahan kain woven sehingga pada penelitian ini teknik fabric slashing manipulation diterapkan pada bahan non-woven seperti kain latex synthetic leather. Eksplorasi fabric slashing manipulation pada blazer berbahan latex synthethic leather akan menjawab tantangan perkembangan fashion dengan keunikan yang dihasilkan.
Penggunaan metode penelitian berupa double diamond model mampu mendukung keseluruhan proses dalam penciptaan karya penelitian ini. Double diamond model memiliki 4 tahapan proses yaitu: discover (menemukan permasalahan dari kebutuhan perkembangan busana), define (menetapkan pengembangan motif slashing yang akan diterapkan pada busana), develop (mengembangkan hiasan pada busana), dan deliver (uji market) yang selanjutnya akan divalidasi oleh 3 ahli desain melalui lembar observasi. Pengumpulan data penelitian diperoleh melalui instrumen penelitian yang disajikan dalam bentuk skala likert. Kemudian hasil data penelitian akan dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan hasil penelitian berupa persentase tingkat kesesuaian busana fashion yang ditampilkan dalam pagelaran karya sebagai wujud eksplorasi yang dilakukan telah dapat dituangkan dengan baik pada sebuah karya busana.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap hasil jadi blazer dengan menerapkan teknik fabric slashing manipulation yang dibuat menggunakan bahan latex synthetic leather mendapatkan rata-rata respon positif dari masyarakat sebesar 84,4% dan rata-rata respon negatif sebesar 15,6% sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa fabric slashing manipulation pada blazer berbahan latex synthetic leather mendapatkan tanggapan dan respon baik serta karya busana dapat diterima oleh masyarakat.

The uniqueness of fashion products can be created in various ways, one of which is through manipulating fabric. The application of fabric slashing manipulation techniques in various fashion product innovations with woven fabrics so that in this study fabric slashing manipulation techniques are applied to non-woven materials such as latex synthetic leather. The exploration of fabric slashing manipulation in blazers made from latex synthethic leather will answer the challenges of fashion development with the resulting uniqueness.
The use of research methods in the form of a double diamond model is able to support the entire process in the creation of this research work. Double diamond model has 4 stages of process, namely: discover (find problems from fashion development needs), define (determine the development of slashing motifs that will be applied to clothing), develop (develop decorations on clothing), and deliver (market test) which will then be validated by 3 design experts through observation sheets. Research data collection is obtained through research instruments presented in the form of Likert scales. Then the results of the research data will be analyzed using quantitative descriptive with the results of the research in the form of the percentage of the level of suitability of fashion clothing displayed in the work show as a form of exploration carried out can be poured well into a fashion work.
The results showed that the level of public satisfaction with the finished blazer by applying the fabric slashing manipulation technique made using latex synthetic leather received an average positive response from the public of 84.4% and an average negative response of 15.6% so that it can be stated that fabric slashing manipulation on blazers made from latex synthetic leather received good responses and responses and clothing works could be received by community.
