PENGARUH DIGITAL READINESS DAN E-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT MELALUI USE OF ICT BASED ON SAMR MODEL TERHADAP STUDENTS’ COMPETENCE
THE EFFECT OF DIGITAL READINESS AND ELECTRONIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THROUGH THE USE OF ICT BASED ON THE SAMR MODEL ON STUDENT COMPETENCE
Pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang mewabah saat ini, pada sektor
pendidikan mengakibatkan pembelajaran yang memiliki tujuan
membelajarkan siswa menggunakan asas pendidikan maupun teori belajar
yang merupakan penentu utama keberhasilan pendidikan tidak dapat
dilaksanakan. Selanjutnya sekolah dipaksa untuk melaksanakan
pembelajaran secara online (daring). Oleh karena itu, kesiapan digital dan
lingkungan pembelajaran elektronik berperan penting dalam meningkatkan
kompetensi siswa didukung dengan penggunaan ICT berdasar model SAMR.
Seorang siswa dapat dikatakan siswa yang berkompeten ketika telah memiliki
kesiapan digital dan lingkungan pembelajaran elektronik yang kuat dan
mampu mengaplikasikannya mengikuti penggunaan ICT berdasar model
SAMR yang diberikan guru dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung maupun tidak langsung antara digital
readiness dan e-learning environment melalui use of ICT based on SAMR
model terhadap Students’ competence di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri se
Kabupaten Mojokerto.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dimana peneliti
menggunakan data untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara variabelvariabelpenelitian
melalui pengujian hipotesis. Populasi penelitian yang
digunakan adalah siswa MAN di Kabupaten Mojokerto sejumlah 787 siswa.
Sampel dipilih berdasarkan proportionate stratified random sampling dan uji
casewise diagnostic sehingga diperoleh sampel sejumlah 265 responden.
Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner dan
analisa datanya menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata mean Kesiapan Digital,
Lingkungan Pembelajaran Elektronik, Penggunaan ICT Berdasar Model
SAMR dan Kompetensi Siswa masih dalam kategori efektif. Temuan
penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa semua variabel memiliki pengaruh yang
sama kuat pada pembentukan Kompetensi Siswa. Tetapi, beberapa variabel
yang menjadi pengaruhnya dominansi yang kuat dimiliki Kesiapan Digital
dalam terbentuknya Kompetensi Siswa, sehingga dengan kata lain bahwa
kesiapan siswa menghadapi dunia digital memberikan pengaruh pada
perubahan kompetensi siswa.
The current Covid-19 pandemic, in the education sector, has resulted in
learning that has the aim of teaching students to use educational principles
and learning theories which are the main determinants of educational success
cannot be implemented. Furthermore, schools are forced to carry out online
learning. Therefore, digital readiness and an electronic learning environment
play an important role in increasing students’ competence supported by the
use of ICT based on the SAMR model. A student can be said to be a competent
student when he has digital readiness and a strong electronic learning
environment and having ability to apply it by following the use of ICT based
on the SAMR model given by the teacher in teaching learning process. This
study aims to determine the direct or indirect relationship between Digital
Readiness and the E-Learning Environment through the Use of ICT Based on
the SAMR Model to the Students’ Competence of MAN Students in Mojokerto
Regency.
This study used a quantitative approach, where researcher used data to
explain the relationship between research variables through hypothesis
testing. The population of this research is the students of MAN in Mojokerto
Regency with a total of 787 students. The sample was selected based on
proportionate stratified random sampling and casewise diagnostic test so that
a sample of 265 respondents was obtained. Data collection technique used
questioners. The data analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)
The results showed that the mean of Digital Readiness, E-Learning
Environment, Use of ICT Based on the SAMR Model and Students’
Competence is still in the effective category. The findings of this study confirm
that all variables have an equally strong influence on the formation of
students’ competence. However, several variables that influence the strong
dominance of Digital Readiness in the formation of Students’ Competence, so
in other words that students' readiness to face the digital world has an
influence on changes in students’ competence.
