Tujuan penelitian untuk (1) menguji pengaruh metode bercerita bermedia kartu gambar terhadap perkembangan bahasa dalam hal menyimak pada anak TK Kelompok B; (2) menguji pengaruh metode bercerita bermedia kartu gambar terhadap perkembangan bahasa dalam hal berbicara pada anak TK Kelompok B; Jenis dan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan quasi eksperimen design jenis non-equivalen control group.

Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah TK ABA V kelas B1 ada 20 siswa dan kelas B2 ada 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen; dan TK Islam Setya Dharma kelas B1 ada 16 siswa dan kelas B2 ada 16 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA) dan MANOVA.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa output SPSS diperoleh nilai probabilitas signifikansi < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima, artinya (1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode bercerita bermedia kartu gambar terhadap perkembangan bahasa dalam hal menyimak pada anak TK kelompok B; (2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode bercerita bermedia kartu gambar terhadap perkembangan bahasa dalam hal berbicara pada anak TK kelompok B.

Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menguji metode dan alat peraga edukasi yang dapat mengembangkan motorik halus dan perkembangan bahasa khususnya kemampuan berbicara. 

Research aims to (1) testing the influence of the storytelling method of picture-card media to the development of language in regard to listening to the childhood group B; (2) testing the influence of the storytelling method of picture-card media to the development of language in terms of speaking in the childhood group B. Types and plans of quantitative research with quasi experimental design type non-equivalent control group.

The sample used in the study was the ABA kindergarten grade B1 there were 20 students and the grade B2 there were 20 students as experimental classes; and kindergarten Islam Setya Dharma grade B1 there are 16 students and grade B2 there are 16 students as the control class. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. Data analysis techniques using analysis of variance and multivariate analysis of variance.

The results showed that the SPSS output obtained a probability value of the significance of the < 0.05 so that it can be concluded that H₀ rejected and H₁ accepted, meaning (1) there is a significant influence between the storytelling method of picture-card media to the development of language in regard to listening to the childhood group B; (2) there is a significant influence between the storytelling method of the picture-card media to the development of language in terms of speaking in the childhood group B.

Further studies are expected to test educational methods and aids that can develop fine motor and language development, especially the ability to speak.
