STUDY OF LITERATURE INCREASING STUDENTS’ LEARNING ABILITY IN BASIC PROGRAMMING COURSES IN VOCATIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL USING PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL
Proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar mempunyai beberapa hambatan yang dapat berpengaruh dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari beberapa literatur bahwa penerapan proses pembelajarannya masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang penjelasannya hanya berpusat pada guru. Metode tersebut kurang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran pemrograman dasar dikarenakan siswa sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep pemrograman dan minat belajar siswa juga berkurang. Pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar ini mengajarkan siswa untuk memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini diperlukannya model pembelajaran yang bisa meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam proses pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Pemanfaatan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) akan mengikutsertakan semua siswa dalam menangani suatu masalah sehingga dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan penalaran siswa, melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lebih mengembangkan kewibawaan materi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan pada studi literatur ini yaitu metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Metode Systematic Literatur Review memiliki 3 tahapan antara lain Planning, Conducting, dan Reporting. Data yang digunakan pada studi lieratur ini adalah data sekunder maka dalam pengambilan datanya tidak terjun langsung ke lapangan melainkan diperoleh dari studi pustaka. Data yang diperoleh terdapat 10 literatur yang relevan dan kata kunci, penulis menemukan beberapa hipotesis dapat dibuktikan menggunakan data sekunder dengan melihat hasil dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan oleh penelitian sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari beberapa literatur bahwa adanya perbandingan sebelum dan setelah mengaplikasikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta terdapatnya pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar di SMK.

The learning process in basic programming subjects has several obstacles that can affect teaching and learning activities. Based on the results of the analysis of some literature that the application of the learning process still uses conventional methods whose explanations are only teacher-centered. This method is not appropriate in the basic programming learning process because students often hanve difficulty understanding programming concepts and students’ interest in learning is also reduced. Learning in basic programming subjects teaches students to solve problems in everyday life. This requires a learning model that can improve students’ understanding in the learning process, one of which is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model will involve all students in dealing with a problem so that it can grow students’ reasoning abilities, train critical thinking skills and further develop the authority of learning materials. The method used in this literature study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. The Systematic Literature Review method has 3 stages, including Planning, Conducting, and Reporting. The data used in this literature study is secondary data, so the data collection does not go directly to the field but is obtained from a literature study. The data obtained are 10 relevant literature and keywords, the authors found several hypotheses that can be proven using secondary data by looking at the results of research that has been carried out by previous research. Based on the results of the analysis of several literatures that there is a comparison before and after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving students’ learning abilities in basic programming subjects in SMK.
