Pengaruh Karakteristik Pekerjaan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja melalui Komitmen Organisasi
The Influence of Job Characteristics on Job Satisfaction through Organizational Commitment
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui komitmen organisasi pada pegawai bank di wilayah Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. sampel sebanyak 72 responden dengan teknik sampel jenuh melalui kuesioner online. Analisis statistik menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Karakteristik kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Komitmen organisasi berhasil memediasi hubungan antara karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja.
This research was conducted with the aim of evaluating and analyzing job characteristics on job satisfaction through organizational commitment to bank employees in the Surabaya area. This research is a quantitative research. a sample of 72 respondents with a saturated sample technique through an online questionnaire. Statistical analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that job characteristics did not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Work characteristics have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Organizational commitment successfully mediates the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction.
