PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH KULIT TELUR PUYUH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBUAT KOLASE DI KELAS IV SDN NGASTEMI 1 MOJOKERTO

Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya keterampilan membuat kolase pada mata pelajaran SBdP siswa kelas IV SDN Ngastemi 1. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kurangnya dalam penggunaan bahan saat membuat kolase, sehingga saat membuat kolase kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin memperbaiki hasil karya siswa  dengan menggunakan bahan lain yaitu limbah kulit telur puyuh.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengembangkan atau meningkatkan keterampilan  siswa dalam membuat kolase dengan menggunakan bahan limbah di kelas IV SDN Ngastemi 1 mojokerto. Karena selama ini, guru hanya terfokus pada materi yang ada di buku tanpa adanya suatu pengembangan atau perubahan baru yang lebih inovatif.

Metode penelitian ini termasuk kedalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bertindak secar langsung yang mana dalam pembelajaran peneliti bertugas sebagai pelaksana pembelajaran, mulai dari awal sampai akhir tindakan yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan pengamatan serta refleksi.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan bahan limbah kulit telur puyuh, hasil karya siswa kelas IV mengalami peningkatan. Data hasil aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran kolase dengan menggunakan bahan limbah kulit telur puyuh pada siklus I mencapai 71,52% dan siklus II yaitu mencapai 82,66%. Sedangkan Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I yaitu 72,50%, dan siklus II yang diperoleh yaitu 88,75%. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan penugasan atau lembar unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu membuat kolase dengan bahan limbah kulit telur puyuh dapat meningkatkan hasil keterampilan siswa pada tema peduli terhadap makhluk hidup. Kemudian hasil karya siswa pada siklus I yaitu mencapai 63,33%. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil karya siswa yaitu mencapai 86,66%. Hasil penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa membuat kolase dengan bahan limbah dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dari siklusI ke siklus II yakni dari 63,33%  menjadi 86,66%. Dapat diketahui terjadinya peningkatan hasil karya siswa sebanyak 23,33% dari 63,33% pada siklus I menjadi 86,66% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan data hasil dari pelaksanaan penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan lain selain kertas yaitu limbah kulit telur puyuh mampu meningkatkan hasil keterampilan siswa.

UTILIZATION OF FERTILIZER EGG WASTE TO IMPROVE SKILLS MAKE COLLAGE IN CLASS IV SDN NGASTEMI 1 MOJOKERTO

The background of this research's the low collage-making skills in the SBDP subjects of fourth grade students at Ngastemi 1 Elementary School. This is due to a lack of material use when making collages. So, when use that's making collages it's less effective.  Therefore, researchers want to improve the work of students by using other ingredients, namely quail eggshell waste.

 The purpose of this research is to develop or improve students' skills in making collages using waste materials in class IV of Ngastemi 1 Elementary School in Mojokerto.  Because, the teacher has only focused on the material of the book only without a new or more innovative development or change.

This research method including into Classroom Action Research acts directly in research, starting from the beginning to the end of the action, which consists of 2 cycles.  Each cycle includes planning, implementing actions and observing and reflecting. 

The results of this research indicate that by using quail eggshell waste material, the work of fourth grade students has increased.  Document on the results of teacher activities in collage learning by using quail eggshell waste in the first cycle reached 71.52% and the second cycle reached 82.66%.  While the activities of students in the first cycle were 72.50%, and the second cycle was 88.75%.  Data is collected by using observation and assignment sheets or performance sheets.  The results of this research are making collages with quail eggshell waste material can improve the results of students' skills on the theme of caring for living things.  Then the work of students in the first cycle reached 63.33%.  While in the second cycle the results of students' work reached 86.66%.  The results of the study have shown that making collages with waste materials can improve students' skills from cycle one to cycle II, from 63.33% to 86.66%.  It can be seen the increase in student work as much as 23.33% from 63.33% in the first cycle to 86.66% in the second cycle.  Based on the results of the document from the implementation of the research showed that use of materials than paper, namely quail eggshell waste can improve student skills.
