RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM LAYANAN SIRKULASI RUANG BACA MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI RFID BERBASIS IOT
DESIGN AND BUILD A READING ROOM CIRCULATION SERVICE SYSTEM USING IOT-BASED RFID TECHNOLOGY
ABSTRAK
Kemajuan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah berdampak besar di berbagai bidang, salah satunya adalah layanan perpustakaan. Layanan di perpustakaan meliputi pelayanan administratif dan pelayanan pemustaka, khususnya adalah layanan sirkulasi yang mencakup aktivitas peminjaman, pengembalian, serta pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan. Namun, banyak perpustakaan yang masih menggunakan metode tradisional dengan pencatatan manual yang meningkatkan risiko penyalahgunaan, seperti pencurian dan peminjaman tanpa izin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi keterlambatan pengembalian buku, meningkatkan keamanan dalam proses sirkulasi, serta mempermudah layanan dengan menyimpan data secara aman di jaringan lokal. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32, RFID sticker label, RFID card, dan RFID reader. Selain itu, pengiriman kode OTP melalui bot telegram untuk autentikasi dan pengingat otomatis, memastikan proses yang lebih aman dan efisien. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa pemindaian RFID card memiliki rata-rata waktu pembacaan sebesar 1.58 detik dan pemindaian RFID sticker label memiliki rata-rata waktu pembacaan sebesar 1.90 detik. Selain itu, pengiriman kode OTP dan notifikasi melalui telegram memerlukan rata-rata waktu pengiriman sebesar 3.48 detik. Hasil rata-rata skor penilaian kinerja sistem adalah 76.89 pada kategori acceptability ranges adalah “acceptable”, grade scale adalah “C”, dan adjective rating adalah “GOOD”. Sedangkan, hasil pengujian fungsional sistem diperoleh validitas sistem sebesar 100% yang membuktikan bahwa sistem efektif dan mendukung layanan sirkulasi di perpustakaan dengan baik.

ABSTRACT
Advances in Internet of Things (IoT) technology have had a major impact in various fields, one of which is library services. Services in the library include administrative services and user services, especially circulation services that include borrowing, returning, and managing library collections. However, many libraries still use traditional methods with manual record-keeping that increases the risk of abuse, such as theft and unauthorized lending. This research aims to reduce delays in returning books, improve security in the circulation process, and simplify services by storing data securely on the local network. The system was developed using an ESP32 NodeMCU microcontroller, RFID sticker label, RFID card, and RFID reader. In addition, the sending of OTP codes through telegram bots for authentication and automatic reminders, ensures a more secure and efficient process. System testing shows that RFID card scans have an average read time of 1.58 seconds and RFID sticker label scans have an average read time of 1.90 seconds. In addition, sending OTP codes and notifications via telegram requires an average delivery time of 3.48 seconds. The average result of the system performance assessment score was 76.89 in the category of acceptability ranges was "acceptable", grade scale was "C", and adjective rating was "GOOD". Meanwhile, the results of the functional test of the system obtained a system validity of 100% which proves that the system is effective and supports circulation services in the library well.
