PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK CERITA SISWA KELAS I SEKOLAH DASAR
DEVELOPMENT OF ANIMATED VIDEO MEDIA FOR STORY LISTENING SKILLS OF FIRST GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan penggunaan media dalam aktivitas pembelajaran dan penyampaian materi oleh guru sulit dipahami siswa terutama pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kegiatan menyimak cerita yang berisi kalimat ajakan. Hal tersebut menjadi alasan perlunya dilaksanakan penelitian pengembangan media video animasi untuk keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan proses pengembangan media video animasi untuk keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas I sekolah dasar dan mengetahui kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan media video animasi yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE, meliputi lima tahap yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar validasi, lembar pretest dan posttest, dan lembar angket. Hasil validasi materi menunjukkan persentase 90% dan hasil validasi media menunjukkan persentase 88,75%. Berdasarkan hasil tes siswa yang dianalisis dengan SPSS, menunjukkan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan perhitungan manual menunjukkan t hitung > t tabel (15,022 > 2,101). Perolehan kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil angket respon guru dan siswa, masing-masing menunjukkan persentase 100% dan 96,66%. Berdasarkan hasil kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan dapat diketahui media video animasi sangat valid, sangat efektif, dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyimak cerita siswa kelas I sekolah dasar.

This development research is motivated by the limitations of the use of media in learning activities and the delivery of material by the teacher is difficult for students to reach, especially in learning Indonesian, listening activities which contain invitation sentences. This is the reason why it is necessary to carry out research on the development of animated video media for the story listening skills of first grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to explain the process of developing animated video media to listen to the stories of first grade elementary school students and find out the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the animated video media that has been developed. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE model, covering five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection process used instruments in the form of validation sheets, pretest and posttest sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The results of material validation show a percentage of 90% and the results of media validation show a percentage of 88.75%. Based on the student's test which was analyzed by SPSS, it showed a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 and manual calculations showed t count > t table (15,022 > 2,101). The practicality gain is based on the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires, each showing a percentage of 100% and 96.66%. Based on the results of validity, effectiveness, and practicality, it can be seen that animated video media is very valid, very effective, and very practical to use in learning to listen to stories for first grade elementary school students.
