LKPD merupakan kumpulan dari lembaran yang berisikan kegiatan peserta didik yangwmemungkinkan peserta didik melakukan aktivitas nyatawdengan objek dan persoalan yang dipelajari. Pendekatan “5M” menekankan bahwa peranan utama dalam kegiatan belajar adalah aktivitas peserta didik dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan lembar kegiatan peserta didik berbasis saintifik pada materi keanekaragaman hayati yang dinyatakan valid dari segi isi, penyajian dan bahasa serta praktis berdasarkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan aktivitas peserta didik. Parameter dalam penelitian ini meliputi validitas yang dilihat dari hasil validitas para ahli, kepraktisan yang dilihat dari keterlaksanaan lembar kegiatan peserta didik, keterlaksanaan aktivitas peserta didik. Lembar kegiatan peserta didik yang dikembangkan menggunakan desain penelitian model 4-D yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate. Namun, tahap dessiminate tidak dilakukan karena penulis hanya melakukan sampai tahap develop dan skripsinya yaitu pengembangan serta jenis penelitiannya yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan pada 20 peserta didik kelas X MIA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Arosbaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validitas lembar kegiatan peserta didik yang dikembangkan sebesar 3,50 dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan lembar kegiatan peserta didik berdasarkan observasi keterlaksanaan lembar kegiatan peserta didik mendapatkan hasil sebesar 96,04% yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat praktis. Keterlaksanaan aktivitas literasi sains memperoleh hasil 96,93% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Respon peserta didik mencapai 85,55% dengan kategori sangat positif.

LKPD is a collection of sheets that contain the activities of students that enable students to carry out real activities with objects and problems learned. The "5M" approach emphasizes that the main role in learning activities is the activity of students in constructing their own knowledge. The purpose of this study was to produce a sheet of scientific-based student activities on biodiversity material that was declared valid in terms of content, presentation and language as well as practically based on the implementation of learning, and the activities of students. The parameters in this study include the validity seen from the results of the validity of the experts, the practicality seen from the implementation of the student activity sheet, the implementation of the activities of the students. The student activity sheet developed using a 4-D model research design namely Define, Design, Develop, and Dessiminate. However, the dessiminate stage was not carried out because the author only carried out the development stage and thesis, namely development and the type of research that was quantitative descriptive. Limited trials conducted on 20 students of class X MIA 2 Arosbaya 1 High School. The results of the study show the validity of the student activity sheet developed at 3.50 with a very valid category. The practicality of the student activity sheet based on the implementation observation of the student activity sheet gets a result of 96.04% which falls into the very practical category. The implementation of scientific literacy activities received 96.93% results in a very practical category. The response of students reached 85.55% with a very positive category.
