Penelitian inixbertujuan untuk mengetahui ragam hias dan warna serta makna dari ragam hias dan warna pada Tenun Ikat Bandar Kidul Kota Kediri Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriftif kualitatif, dan menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi untuk pengumpulan datanya. Penelitian Deskriftif Kualitatif menggambarkan, menguraikan, menjelaskan dan menerangkan perkembangan ragamxhias dan warna Tenun Ikat Bandar Kidull Kota Kediri Jawa Timur. Informan dalam penelitian ini merupakan pemilik Kerajinan Tenun Ikat Medali Mas, Kodok Ngorek dan cabang dari Kodok Ngorek yaitu Aam Putra. Kemudian dari pihak pemerintahan yaitu Dinas Koperasi dan Tenaga Kerja bidang UMKM serta Dinas Kebudayaan, Pariwisata, Kepemudaan dan Olahraga.

Hasil mengenai ragam hias yang dilakukan berdasarkan penelitian ini terdiri dari ragam hias geometris, flora maupun fauna. Ragam hias dari Tenun Ikat Bandar Kidul ini diambil berdasarkan kebudayaan yang ada di Kota Kediri, lingkungan sekitar dan ragam hias buatan yang di desain khusus untuk memenuhi permintaan dari konsumen (Custom). Ragam hias dari tenun ikat Bandar Kidul adalah ragam hias Tirto, Wajik, Ceplok, Kembang Gunung Kelotok, Setia Hati, Genitri, Bunga Salju, Busur Bima, Kupu-kupu, dan Ombak Berantas. Begitu pula dengan warna, tenun ikat Bandar Kidul Kota Kediri mempunyai beraneka ragam warna. Namun, warna yang sering digunakan pada Tenun Ikat Bandar Kidul adalah warna merah, hitam, biru, ungu dan hijau.

Ragam hiasxdan warna yang digunakan pada tenun ikat Bandar Kidul mempunyai pesan moral serta makna harapan supaya masyarakat bisa hidup dengan memberikan kedaimaian dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat yang lainnya.

This study aimsxto finded out the decoration and color variations and the meaning of the decoration and color in the Weaving Bandar  Kidul of Kediri, East Java. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, and uses interview, documentation and observation methods to collect data. Qualitative Descriptive Research describes, describes, explains and explains the development of decorative colors and colors of Bandar Kidul Weaving in the City of Kediri, East Java. The informants in this study werre the owner of Medali Mas Weaving Crafts, the Kodok Ngorek and the Kodok Ngorek  branch, Aam Putra. Then from the government, namely the Office of Cooperatives and Labor in the field of SMEs and the Office of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports.

Based on resarch that has been donne, shows the results of the weaving variety of Bandar Kidul Weaving in Kediri City consisting of geometric, flora and fauna decoration. The decorative variety of Bandar Kidul Weaving is taken based on the culture in the City of Kediri, the surrounding environment and the variety of artificial decoration specificaly design to meet the demand of the customer (Custom). The ornamental variety of Bandar Kidul ikats are Tirto, Wajik, Ceplok, Kelotok Mountain Flower, Loyal Hearts, Genitri, Snowflowers, Bima Bows, Butterflies, and Berantas Waves. Likewise with the color of the ikat weaving in Bandar Kidul, Kediri City, which has a variety of colors. However, the colors that are often used in Ikat Bandar Kidul are red, black, blue, purple and green.

The variety of decoration and colors used in the Bandar Kidul ikat weave has a moral message and the meaning of hope so that the community can live by providing sovereignty and benefit other people.
