Pengaruh Interval Training 400m dan Tabata Training Terhadap Peningkatan VO2Max Mahasiswa Aktif Non-Atlit Unesa
The Effect of 400m Interval Training and Tabata Training on Increasing VO2Max of Unesa's Non-Athlete Active Students
Kebugaran jasmani dapat diketahui mengetahui melalui pengukuran kapasitas oksigen maksimal atau biasa disebut VO2Max. Nilai VO2Max dapat mempengaruhi seberapa kuat daya tahan dan stamina seseorang dalam beraktifitas. Pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari tahu perbedaan pengaruh antara interval training dan tabata training terhadap peningkatan VO2Max. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian two groups eksperimental design. Penelitian ini membandingkan dua latihan berbeda dan dilakukan treatment / intervensi selama enam minggu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah mean, standart deviasi, uji normalitas (saphiro wilk), uji homogenitas, uji paired sample t-test, dan uji independent samples t-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, hasil uji pengaruh (paired sample t-test) pada kelompok yang melakukan interval training adalah nilai sig 2-tailed < 0,05 (rata-rata pre-test 36,17 ml/kg/menit dan rata-rata post-test 40,78 ml/kg/menit). Hasil uji pengaruh (paired sample t-test) pada kelompok yang melakukan tabata training adalah nilai sig 2-tailed > 0,05 (rata-rata pre-test 39,97 ml/kg/menit dan rata-rata post-test 42,59 ml/kg/menit). Hasil uji beda (Independent samples t-test) antara kelompok yang melakukan interval training dan tabata training adalah nilai sig 2-tailed > 0,05.
Physical fitness can be known to know through measuring oxygen capacity maximum or commonly called VO2Max. VO2Max value can affect how strong a person's endurance and stamina is in his activities. In this study, the aim is to find out the difference in effect between interval training and tabata training on VO2Max improvement. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach, this study uses two groups experimental research design. The study compared two different exercises and do treatment / intervention for six weeks. Data analysis techniques used in this study are the mean, standard deviation, normality test (saphiro wilk), homogeneity test, paired sample t-test, and independent samples t-test. Results from this study is the result of the influence test (paired sample t-test) in the group that did interval training is a two-tailed sig value <0.05 (average pre-test 36.17 ml / kg / min and the mean post-test average 40.78 ml / kg / minute). The results of the influence test (paired sample t-test) in the group that did the tabata training were sig 2-tailed values> 0.05 (pre-test average 39.97 ml / kg / minute and post-test average 42, 59 ml / kg / minute). The results of the different tests (Independent samples t-test) between groups conducting training intervals and tabata training are sig 2-tailed values> 0.05.
