THE EFFECT OF PARENTING PARENTING PATTERNS ON STUDENT EMOTIONAL STABILITY IN SOCIAL SCIENCES CLASS VII AT SMPN 1 MOJOWARNO, JOMBANG DISTRICT

This research is to find out whether there is influence and significant effect of parenting style on students' emotional stability in social studies class VII-H at SMP Negeri 1 Mojowarno. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling or by selecting a sample with predetermined characteristics by looking at the student behavior records of the class VII social studies teacher to fulfill the research criteria as well as suggestions from the VII class social studies teacher. The samples obtained were VII-H students, totaling 30 students.
Based on the results of the analysis of the hypothesis test results from the parenting response questionnaire and the emotional stability of students in learning, it is carried out using a simple linear regression test and a closeness test. In these two tests, it shows that there is an influence of parenting style on students' emotional stability by 15% with a low closeness classification. This can be interpreted that the results of this study Ha is accepted while Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a negative but significant influence between parenting styles on students' emotional stability in social studies class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Mojowarno.
