PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING PADA
KOMPETENSI DASAR RIAS KARAKTER TIGA DIMENSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN
HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMK NEGERI 6 SURABAYA
Menurut perolehan data dari hasil observasi dan wawancara di SMKN 6 Surabaya, diketahui bahwa
terdapat beberapa kendala pada kompetensi dasar rias karakter tiga dimensi. Kurangnya variasi model
pembelajaran membuat siswa kurang aktif dan merasa mudah bosan sehingga hasil belajar yang dicapai
menjadi kurang maksimal. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penulis menerapkan model pembelajaran
PjBL sebagai upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Adapun tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini ialah
mengetahui keterlaksanaan sintak PjBL, hasil belajar dan respons siswa pada pembelajaran yang
berbasis proyek. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif berjenis “Pre Experimental” dengan
rancangan “One Group Pre-Test and Post-Tes Design” di mana terdapat 33 siswa kelas XII TKC 1
SMKN 6 Surabaya sebagai subyek penelitian. Menurut hasil dari penelitian, didapatkan hasil: (1)
Penerapan sintak PjBL memperoleh persentase 93,5% dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) Hasil belajar
siswa di uji dengan uji t dan memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa
hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, (3) Respons siswa memperoleh persentase 96% sehingga
dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Dari hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan jika kegiatan pembelajaran
PjBL telah terlaksanakan dengan sangat baik yang kemudian memicu terjadinya peningkatan hasil
belajar, dan respons yang sangat baik dari para siswa.
According to data obtained from observations and interviews at SMKN 6 Surabaya, it is known that
there are several obstacles to the basic competence of three-dimensional character makeup. The lack
of variety in learning models makes students less active and feel bored easily so that the learning
outcomes achieved are less than optimal. To overcome this, the author applies the PjBL learning model
as an effort to improve student learning outcomes. The aim of carrying out this research is to determine
the implementation of PjBL syntax, learning outcomes and student responses to project-based learning.
The research was carried out using a quantitative method of the "Pre Experimental" type with a "One
Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design" design where there were 33 class XII students at TKC 1 SMKN
6 Surabaya as research subjects. According to the results of the research, the following results were
obtained: (1) The application of PjBL syntax obtained a percentage of 93.5% in the very good category,
(2) Student learning outcomes were tested using the t test and obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <
0.05, so it can be concluded that student learning outcomes have increased, (3) Student responses
obtained a percentage of 96%, so they can be categorized as very good. From the results of this data,
it can be concluded that PjBL learning activities have been implemented very well, which then triggers
an increase in learning outcomes and a very good response from students.
