Autism children had difficulty, or failure to receive and interpret the information,especially about self manage ability to autism children.With the problem above, it required a guide book to train the parents to teach the autism children in order to be easy in accepting information.The purpose of this research was producing the product of a guide book of autism children’s self manage by using TEACCH method, which contained the way of the parents to train the autism children’s self manage. This research used developing research with Research and Development approach (R & D).Sugiyono (2007: 297)The method of reseach and development or R & D was a research method which was used to produce a certain product and to test the product properness and effectiveness.The data collection used observation and questionaire. The result of data collection technique produced the product properness of guide book of autism children’s self manage by using TEACCH method.Based on the trial result, it proved that this guide book of autism children’s self manage by using TEACCH method was proper to be used in learning process with the validation result of material expert obtained 4,2 while the validation result of design obtained 4,0 score. The practicity analysis of the guide book product could be implemented and it was suitable with the plan wanted so that the guide book could be stated that it had filled the practicity criteria. The effectivity analysis in post test result was 28,33 through Gain Score analysis so that this product was stated effective to train the autism children’s self manage.

Anak Autis mengalami kesulitan, atau kegagalan untuk menerima dan menafsirkan informasi. Khususnya tentang kemampuan pengelolaan diri pada anak autis. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya buku panduan untuk melatih orang tua untuk mengajarkan anak autis agar mudah dalam menerima informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini Menghasilkan produk Buku Panduan Pengelolaan Diri Anak Autis Dengan Menggunakan Metode TEACCH, yang berisi cara orang tua untuk melatih pengelolaan diri anak autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R & D). Sugiyono (2007:297) metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau R&D adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji kelayakan dan keefektifan produk. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Hasil dari teknik pengumpulan data menghasilkan kelayakan produk buku panduan pengelolaan diri anak autis dengan menggunakan metode TEACCH. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba membuktikan bahwa buku panduan pengelolaan diri anak autis dengan menggunakan metode TEACCH ini layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan hasil validasi dari ahli materi memperoleh 4,2 sedangkan hasil validasi desain memperoleh skor 4,0. Analisis Kepraktisan produk buku panduan dapat terlaksana dan sesuai dengan rencana yang diinginkan, sehingga buku panduan dapat dinyatakan sudah memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan. Analisis Keefektifan   pada hasil post test yakni sebesar 28,33 melalui Analisis Gain Score sehingga produk ini di katakan efektif untuk melatih pengelolaan diri anak autis.
