Variasi bahasa cenderung disebabkan oleh keragaman bahasa yang dimiliki oleh setiap penutur dengan latar belakang sosial yang berbeda. Salah satu variasi bahasa dari segi penutur yaitu sosiolek. Sosiolek merupakan salah satu variasi bahasa yang termasuk cabang dari fenomena sosiolinguistik yang menghubungkan dan mempelajari sosial dan linguistik. sosiolek berhubungan dengan latar belakang sosial penuturnya seperti usia, pekerjaan, jenis kelamin, sosiokultural dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena keberagaman leksikan dan tuturan bahasa sosiolek yang terdapat dalam film web series imperfect the series 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui bentuk sosiolek berdasarkan usia dan pekerjaan, serta fungsi sosiolek yang digunakan oleh penutur dalam web series tersebut. Bentuk sosiolek dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada leksikon dan tuturan. Jenis penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap. Selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat untuk mencatat transkip data tuturan dari bahasa lisan ke bahasa tulis tanpa mengubah bentuk bahasa yang telah diujarkan oleh penutur. Teknik catat juga digunakan untuk mencatat data yang cenderung terlihat masuk dalam bentuk sosiolek. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa bentuk sosiolek berdasarkan usia dan pekerjan meliputi leksikon dan tuturan serta fungsi sosiolek yang digunakan penutur dalam komunikasi pada film web series Imperfect The Series 2.

Language variations tend to be seen due to the diversity of languages ​​that are owned by each speaker with a different social background. One of them is language variation, namely sociolect. Sociolect is a variation of language which is a branch of sociolinguistic phenomena that connects and studies social and linguistics. sociolect relates to the social background of speakers such as age, occupation, gender, sociocultural and so on. This research was conducted because of the diversity of lexical and sociolect languages ​​contained in the web series imperfect the series 2. This study aims to determine the forms of sociolects based on age and occupation, as well as the sociolect functions used by speakers in the web series. The form of sociolect in this study is focused on lexicon and speech. This type of research is in the form of qualitative research using the listening method with the speaking technique free of engagement. Then proceed with note-taking techniques to record transcripts of speech data from spoken language to written language without changing the form of the spoken language. Note-taking techniques are also used to record data that tends to appear in the sociolect form. The results of this study are in the form of sociolect forms based on age and occupation including lexicon and utterances as well as sociolect functions used by speakers in communication in the film web series imperfect the series 2.
