ANALISIS INTERPRETASI PADA KOMPOSISI NOCTURNE IN E-FLAT MAJOR OP. 9 NO. 2 KARYA CHOPIN

INTERPRETATION ANALYSIS OF NOCTURNE COMPOSITION IN E-FLAT MAJOR OP. 9 NO. 2 CHOPIN'S WORKS

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara detail akan ornamen, teknik, dan dinamika yang terdapat pada komposisi ini sehingga terbentuk interpretasi dari pianis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui dua metode yaitu metode wawancara dan metode dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis komposisi ini adalah teori interpretasi milik Suka Hardjana. Beliau mengemukakan bahwa peristiwa-peristiwa keindahan musik dapat terjadi melalui seorang interpreter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 terdiri dari enam bagian yaitu A-B-A’-Coda-Coda’-Cadenza. Pada tiap bagian terdapat beberapa nada yang menjadi repetisi namun tetap perlu diperhatikan setiap perbedaan ornamen, teknik, dan dinamika yang terdapat pada komposisi ini mulai dari teknik accent, trill, tempo dan dinamika yang ada beserta pembawaan dengan alur cerita dari para setiap pianis. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, membuktikan bahwa teori tersebut terimplementasikan dalam karakter yang ada dalam komposisi Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 yang menjadi poin krusial bagi pianis dalam mempelajari komposisi tersebut supaya dapat menginterpretasikan setiap peristiwa indah yang terimajinasikan dalam komposisi Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the detail of the ornaments, techniques, and dynamics contained in this composition so as to form the interpretation of the pianist. This study used qualitative research methods. The object of this research is Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2. Data accumulation obtained through two methods, namely the interview method and the method of documentation. The theory used to analyze this composition is Suka Hardjana's interpretation theory. He suggested that the events of the beauty of music can occur through an interpreter. The results in this study indicate that Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 consists of six parts, namely A-B-A’-Coda-Coda’-Cadenza. In each section there are several notes that become repetitions, but it is still necessary to pay attention to any differences in ornamentation, technique, and dynamics contained in this composition, starting from the accent, trill, tempo and dynamic techniques along with the character and storyline of each pianist. Based on this analysis, it proves that the theory is implemented in the characters in the composition of Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 which is a crucial point for pianists in studying the composition so that they can interpret every beautiful event imagined in the composition of Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2.
