Anak tunarungu mengalami masalah pada pendengarannya, yang mengakibatkan terjadinya permasalahan pada keterampilan berbahasa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, peserta didik tunarungu kelas II SD mengalami masalah pada keterampilan berbicara. Pada penelitian ini, upaya meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa menggunakan Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh MMR terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak tunarungu kelas II SD di SLB-B Pertiwi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis pra-eksperimen, dengan tipe desain one group pre-test post-test. Teknik statistik yang digunakan dengan perhitungan rumus Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan berbicara anak tunarungu mengalami peningkatan. Hasil keterampilan berbicara 38,43 meningkat menjadi 43,125. Dari hasil analisis data menggunakan rumus Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test, hasil keterampilan berbicara diperoleh Zhitung=1,8 < Ztabel=1,96, sehingga Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh MMR terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik tunarungu kelas II SD di SLB-B Pertiwi.

Deaf children experience problems with their hearing, which results in problems with language skills. Based on the results of observations, deaf students in class II elementary school experienced problems with their speaking skills. In this research, efforts to improve language skills used the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR). The aim of this research was to determine the effect of MMR on the speaking skills of deaf children in grade II elementary school at SLB-B Pertiwi. This research method uses a quantitative pre-experimental approach, with a one group pre-test post-test design type. The statistical technique used is the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test formula calculation. The results of the study showed that the average score of speaking skills of deaf children had increased. The speaking skill result of 38.43 increased to 43.125. From the results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test formula, the results of speaking skills were obtained Zcount=1.8 < Ztable=1.96, so Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of MMR on the speaking skills of second grade elementary school deaf students at SLB-B Pertiwi.
