PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL BENTUK PADA ANAK USIA 3-4 TAHUN MELALUI PERMAINAN GEOMETRI PPT BOUGENVILLE SURABAYA
IMPROVING SHAPE RECOGNITION SKILLS IN CHILDREN AGED 3-4 YEARS THROUGH GEOMETRY GAMES AT PPT BOUGENVILLE SURABAYA
Mendeskripsikan kemampuan anak usia 3-4 tahun dalam membedakan bentuk
geometri melalui aktivitas pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media permainan
geometri di PPT Bougenville Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dalam bahasa Inggris dikenal sebagai
Classroom Action Research. Prosesnya meliputi penyusunan rencana,
pelaksanaan tindakan, dan refleksi untuk merancang langkah selanjutnya.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, dan
kemampuan mengenal bentuk yang diamati pada siklus I dan siklus II di PPT
Bougenville, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas guru meningkat sebesar 18%,
aktivitas anak meningkat sebesar 24,3%, dan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal
bentuk melalui kegiatan sederhana juga meningkat sebesar 21,85%. Dari hasil
tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal bentuk pada anak
masih tergolong rendah, di mana dari 15 anak, 13 anak menunjukkan bahwa
kegiatan tersebut dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam
mengenal bentuk melalui media geometri.

Describe the ability to distinguish geometric shapes of children aged 3-4 years in
the implementation of learning by utilizing geometry game media at PPT
Bougenville Surabaya. This research uses the design of Classroom Action Research
(PTK) or in English called Classroom Action Research. That includes preparing
plans, actions, implementation, reflecting to design the next action. Based on the
results of research on teacher activities, children's activities, and the ability to
recognize shapes contained in cycle I and cycle II at PPT Bougenville. It can be
concluded that teachers' activities have increased by 18%, then children's activities
have increased by
24.3%, and children's ability to recognize shapes through simple activities has also
increased by 21.85%. From the results above, it can be concluded that the ability to
recognize shapes in children is still low, from 15 children to 13 children, with the
above activities can help children improve their ability to recognize shapes through
geometry media.
