Developing The Early Reading Mobile Application For Children Aged 5-6 Years
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media aplikasi mobile membaca permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau RnD. Metode pengembangan pada penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis validasi media serta uji kelayakan media. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini yaitu: 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli media dan guru TK di Kabupaten Jombang dengan jumlah 20 guru. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui kuisioner online yang disebar menggunakan google form. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa media aplikasi mobile membaca permulaan. Aplikasi ini menggunakan acuan membaca permulaan menggunakan metode fonik dengan standart kurikulum PAUD 2013 yang terdiri dari 4 kategori yaitu Fonik A-Z, Vokal dan Konsonan, Membaca serta Games. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data bahwa: 1) media aplikasi mobile membaca permulaan yang dikembangkan terbukti sangat valid, hal ini ditunjukkan dari aspek media maupun materi yang disampaikan, 2) hasil dari uji coba kelompok besar menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mobile membaca permulaan dalam hasil yang baik. Berdasarkan pada hasil analisis perhitungan validasi pada ahli materi memperoleh prosentase 75%, pada ahli media mendapatkan prosentase 87,5% dan pada guru TK di kabupaten Jombang memperoleh prosentase sebesar 83% sehingga hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media aplikasi mobile membaca permulaan dikategorikan sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi terhadap guru dalam menstimulasi kemampuan membaca awal anak, terlebih pada pengenalan huruf alphabet sehingga anak tidak merasa bosan.

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the feasibility of early reading mobile application media for children aged 5-6 years. The type of this research was development research or RnD. The development method used in this study was the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) research procedure. In this study, the analysis technique used was the analysis of media validation and the media feasibility test. The subjects for the trial in this research consisted of 1 material expert, 1 media expert and 20 kindergarten teachers in Jombang. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires online using google form. The results of this development research were in the form of mobile application media for early reading. The reference for early reading in this application was by using the phonic method based on the 2013 PAUD (Early childhood education programs) curriculum standard, which consists of 4 categories, namely Phonic A-Z, Vocals and Consonants, Reading and Games. Based on the results of data analysis, it was known that: 1) the developed mobile application media for early reading was proven to be very valid which was indicated by the aspects of the media and the material presented, 2) the results of the large group trial showed that the mobile application for reading the beginning had good results. Based on the results of the analysis of the validation calculation, the material expert had a percentage of 75%, the media expert had a percentage of 87.5% and the kindergarten teacher in Jombang had a percentage of 83%. From these results it can be concluded that the mobile application media for early reading is categorized very well and is suitable for use in the learning of early reading in children aged 5-6 years. This research has implications for teachers in stimulating children's early reading skills, especially in the introduction of alphabet letters so that children do not feel bored while learning how to read.
