Latar Belakang: Kelemahan pada siswa ekstrakurikuler MAN 2 Mojokerto ketika melakukan tendangan samping (cechuitui) selalu gagal mendapatkan poin dan masih dapat ditangkis maupun ditangkap oleh lawan karena gerakan cenderung lambat. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan resistance band dan leg banding terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan samping (cechuitui) pada siswa ekstrakurikuler Wushu MAN 2 Mojokerto. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experiment kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test group. Jumlah sampel 20 orang laki-laki berusia 16-18th. Pemberian latihan selama 6 minggu, setiap minggu terdapat 3 kali latihan. Pengambilan data menggunakan tendangan samping (cechuitui) selama 15 detik. Hasil: Hasil dari Independent Sample T-test, mean pre-test gerakan tendangan samping (cechuitui) kaki kanan 13,45; post-test gerakan tendangan samping (cechuitui) kaki kanan 20,05. Mean post-test latihan resistance band 24,200; mean post-test latihan leg banding 16,800. Berdasarkan pengolahan data dengan SPSS versi 23, latihan resistance band dan leg banding terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan samping (cechuitui) memperoleh nilai Sig 0,000. Dari kedua nilai Signifikansi < 0,05 maka pada latihan resistance band dan latihan leg banding dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh. Simpulan: Bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada latihan resistance band dan leg banding, dan juga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan yakni lebih besar peningkatannya pada latihan resistance band dibandingkan dengan latihan leg banding terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan samping (cechuitui) kategori sanshou pada ekstrakurikuler MAN 2 Mojokerto.

Objectives: To find out the influence of the band's resistance exercises and leg appeals towards increasing side-kick speed (cechuitui) In The Extracurricular students of Wushu MAN 2 Mojokerto. Method: The research uses quantitative Quasi Experiment method with pre-test post-Test Group Research design. Result: Results of the Independent Sample T-test, mean pre-test side Kick movement (cechuitui) ka footnan 13.45; post-Test Side Kick Movement (Cechuitui) Right leg 20.05. Mean post-Test exercise resistance band 24.200; Mean post-test exercise Leg Appeal 16.800. Based on data processing with SPSS version 23, the band's resistance and leg appeal exercises to increase the speed of the side kick (cechuitui) derive the value of Sig 0.000. Of these two significance values < 0.05 then the band's resistance exercises and leg appeals Exercise are expressed influence. Conclusion: That there is a significant influence on the band's resistance exercises and leg appeals, and there is also a significant difference that the greater improvement in the band's resistance exercises compared to a leg-of- appeal exercise to the speed increase of the side kick (cechuitui) of the Sanshou category at the MAN 2 Mojokerto extracurricular.
