Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis strategi KWL Plus yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatih keterampilan metakognitif peserta didik. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian (Difine), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Develop), namun tahap penyebaran (Disseminate) tidak dilakukan karena penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan di kelas X MIPA 3 MA Negeri 1 Mojokerto pada bulan april 2019. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode validasi, observasi keterlaksanaan, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) validasi LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,8 (kategori: sangat valid), 2) kepraktisan LKPD ditinjau dari observasi keterlaksanaan memperoleh persentase 100% (kategori: sangat praktis) dan respon peserta didik memperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata 95% (kategori: sangat praktis), 3) keefektifan LKPD ditinjau dari ketuntasan indikator butir soal pretest-posttest secara keseluruhan sensitif, nilai gain score memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,95 (kategori: tinggi) dan hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan 18 dari 20 peserta didik dinyatakan tuntas. Simpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis strategi KWL Plus valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatih keterampilan metakognittif peserta didik.

This research aims to produce Student Activity Sheet (SAS) based on KWL Plus strategy that is valid, practical, and effective to train students metacognitive skill. The development of learning devices used 4-D model that includes the stage of definition (Difine), design (Design), development (Develop), but the distribution stage (Disseminate) was not done because this research is development research. Limited trial was done at class X MIPA 3 of MAN 1 Mojokerto in April 2019. Data collection used validation methods, implementation observations, questionnaires, and tests. The results of research shows: 1) the validation of SAS developed obtained average score of 3.8 (category: very valid), 2) the practicality of SAS seen from implementation observation obtained percentage of 100% (category: very practical) and questionnaire of students responses obtained average percentage score of 95% (category: very practical), 3) the effectiveness of SAS seen in terms of completeness of the item indicators on the pretest-posttest as a whole is sensitive, the gain score obtained average score of 0.95 (category: high) and student learning outcomes showed 18 of 20 students declared complete. Conclusion obtained from the results of research shows that KWL Plus strategy-based SAS is valid, practical, and effective to train students' metacognitive skill.
