Perkembangan teknologi khususnya komputer memiliki keterkaitan dengan dunia pendidikan. Salah satu media komputer yang dapat dimanfatkan sebagai media pembelajaran tersebut yakni media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction). Berdasarkan hasil observasi studi pendahuluan di lapangan ditemukan adanya kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa dalam memahami materi IPS, maka diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu memberikan pengaruh positif bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan lapangan, mengetahui desain dan spesifikasi produk yang dikembangkan, serta mengetahui kelayakan media CAI 3D stereoscopy.
Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan dari Borg dan Gall dengan melakukan penelitian sampai 5 tahapan saja yakni (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal (2) perencanaan (3) pengembangan format produk awal (4) uji coba awal (5) revisi produk. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif diambil dari data hasil validasi ahli menggunakan lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, data tanggapan pengguna menggunakan kuisioner dan data tes siswa menggunakan lembar post-test. Objek penelitiannya yakni 10 siswa SDN 78 Gresik. Media CAI 3D stereoscopy didesain menggunakan software Corel Draw 2018, software Adobe Flash Player 11.7 r700, serta aplikasi Make It 3D.
Hasil validasi materi menunjukkan rata-rata penilaian sebanyak 89%, hasil validasi media menunjukkan rata-rata penilaian sebanyak 100%, hasil rata-rata penilaian kuisioner pengguna sebanyak 92%, dan Hasil rata-rata uji coba awal dengan 10 siswa menggunakan post-test sesuai dengan pernyataan Sugiyono (2012:110) mendapatkan hasil 84 > KKM sekolah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media CAI 3D stereoscopy sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif dalam dunia pendidikan serta mampu memberikan hasil belajar siswa diatas nilai KKM yang telah ditentukan sekolah.
The development of technology, especially computers, has a connection with the world of education. One of the computer media that can be utilized as learning media is the CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) media. Based on the results of observations of preliminary studies in the field, it was found that there were difficulties experienced by students in understanding social sciences theory, so learning media were needed that were able to have a positive influence on students. This study aims to determine the analysis of field needs, determine the design and specifications of the products developed, and determine the feasibility of CAI 3D stereoscopy media.

The results of the material validation showed an average rating of 89%, the results of the media validation showed an average rating of 100%, the average results of the user questionnaire assessment were 92%, and the average results of the initial trial with 10 students using post-tests in accordance with the statement of Sugiyono (2012:110) get results 84> Minimal Completeness Criteria of school. It can be concluded that the CAI 3D stereoscopy media is very suitable to be used as an alternative learning media in the world of education and it is able to provide student learning outcomes above the Minimal Completeness Criteria value determined by the school.
