Teacher performance is influenced by various
factors, both external and internal, including teacher empowerment,
organizational culture, and work conflict. This study aims to analyze the
impact of principal-led teacher empowerment, organizational culture, and work
conflict on teacher performance and to test the research model. This study
employs a quantitative approach through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)
analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Data collection was
carried out using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, with a total of
55 respondents from three public junior high schools in Palmatak District,
Anambas Islands Regency. The study results indicate that (1) teacher
empowerment by principals affects the performance of junior high school
teachers in Palmatak District; (2) organizational culture affects the
performance of junior high school teachers in Palmatak District; and (3) work
conflict does not affect the performance of junior high school teachers in
Palmatak District. These findings contribute to the field of education,
particularly in educational management theory, by emphasizing teacher
empowerment, organizational culture, work conflict, and teacher performance in
junior high schools. The results of this study can serve as a reference for
local government policy-making in managerial aspects, highlighting the
importance of principals' roles in teacher empowerment, enhancing
organizational culture, and managing conflicts in schools.
