Pada pendidikan abad ke-21 keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang penting untuk dikembangkan. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat diartikan sebagai keterampilan berpikir secara logis dengan mengumpulkan, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi informasi secara sistematis sehingga didapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam dan keputusan yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas instrumen asesmen keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi fluida statis melalui assessment for learning dan assessment as learning, mendeskripsiskan respon peserta didik terhadap asesmen keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi fluida statis melalui assessment for learning dan assessment as learning, mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi fluida statis melalui assessment for learning dan assessment as learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu instrumen asesmen keterampilan berpikir kritis dan subjek untuk uji coba instrumen yaitu peserta didik kelas XI SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa validitas isi intrumen assessment for learning dan assessment as learning pada ranah isi, ranah konstruksi dan ranah bahasa memenuhi kategori sangat valid. Validitas empiris instrumen asesmen keterampilan berpikir kritis menujukkan bahwa 9 butir soal yang diujikan dalam kategori valid dan reliabel, serta memiliki tingkat kesukaran dalam kategori sedang. Hasil angket respons peserta didik terhadap asesmen keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi fluida statis melalui assessment for learning dan assessment as learning menujukkan respons positif. Profil keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi fluida statis yang diukur melalui assessment for learning dan assessment as learning memiliki hasil bahwa secara keseluruhan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya masuk ke dalam kategori sangat renda. Keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk setiap aspek didapatkan hasil bahwa aspek memberikan penjelasan sederhana, menyimpulkan dan memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut masuk dalam kategori sangat rendah, aspek membangun keterampilan dasar masuk dalam kategori rendah dan aspek mengatur strategi dan taktik masuk dalam kategori cukup.

In 21st century education, critical thinking skills are one of the important skills to be developed. Critical thinking skills can be defined as the skill of thinking logically by collecting, analyzing and evaluating information systematically so as to obtain a deep understanding and the right decision. The purpose of this study is to describe the quality of critical thinking skills assessment instruments for high school students on static fluid material through assessment for learning and assessment as learning, describe students' responses to critical thinking skills assessment on static fluid material through assessment for learning and assessment as learning, describe the profile of critical thinking skills of high school students on static fluid material through assessment for learning and assessment as learning. This research uses descriptive quantitative research, with the research subject, namely the critical thinking skills assessment instrument and the subject for the instrument trial, namely students in grade XI of Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya High School. The results showed that the content validity of the assessment for learning and assessment as learning instruments in the content domain, construction domain and language domain met the very valid category. The empirical validity of the critical thinking skills assessment instrument shows that the 9 items tested are valid and reliable, and have a difficulty level in the medium category. The results of the students' response questionnaire to the assessment of critical thinking skills of high school students on static fluid material through assessment for learning and assessment as learning showed a positive response. The profile of critical thinking skills of high school students on static fluid material measured through assessment for learning and assessment as learning has the result that overall the critical thinking skills of 11th grade students of Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya High School fall into the very low category. Critical thinking skills for each aspect found that the aspects of elementary clarification, interference and advance clarification are in the very low category, the aspect of basic support is in the low category and the aspect of strategy and tactics is in the moderate category.
