Hubungan Kebiasaan Sarapan Terhadap Status Gizi dan Tingkat Konsentrasi Belajar Siswa di SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong

Sarapan pagi adalah suatu kegiatan makan dan minum dari bangun tidur hingga pukul 9 pagi. Sarapan pagi utamanya terdiri dari sumber serat, protein yang tinggi, dan rendah lemak. Apabila sarapan sering ditinggalkan dapat berpengaruh terhadap status gizi dan tingkat konsentrasi belajar pada siswa, karena konsentrasi memiliki peranan penting dalam mengingat, merekam, dan mengembangkan materi yang didapatkan di sekolah.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebiasaan sarapan terhadap status gizi dan tingkat konsentrasi belajar siswa di SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan desain cross sectional dan sampel diambil dengan cara Purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 85 siswa kelas VII dan kelas VIII dengan memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengambilan variabel kebiasaan sarapan adalah lembar kuesioner kebiasaan sarapan, untuk variabel status gizi dilakukan pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan secara langsung dengan pengukuran berat badan menggunakan timbangan digital dan tinggi badan menggunakan microtoise, dan variabel tingkat konsentrasi belajar di ukur dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung dengan panduan kuesioner obeservasi konsentrasi belajar. Kemudian data yang diperoleh di uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square.
Berdasarkan hasil uji yang telah dilakukan, siswa SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong sidoarjo rata-rata memiliki kebiasaan sarapan kadang-kadang 43,52%, rata-rata memiliki status gizi normal 56,47%, dan rata-rata tingkat konsentrasi belajarnya baik 57,64%. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan sarapan terhadap status gizi siswa di SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo (p=0,088), dan Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kebiasaan sarapan terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa di SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo (p=0,000).

Breakfast is an activity of eating and drinking from waking up until 9am. Breakfast mainly consists of sources of fiber, high protein, and low fat. If breakfast is often left out, it can affect the nutritional status and level of learning concentration in students, because concentration has an important role in remembering, recording, and developing material obtained at school.
The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation of breakfast habits on nutritional status and the level of student learning concentration at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School. The method of this study was quantitative correlation with a crosssectional design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling with the number of samples in this study was 85 students in class VII and VIII who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The instrument for taking the breakfast habit variable was used the breakfast habit questionnaire sheet, for the nutritional status variable, the measurement of body weight and height was carried out directly by measuring body weight using a digital scale and height using a microtoise, and the variable level of learning concentration was measured by direct observation with the guide of the learning concentration obeservation questionnaire. Then the data obtained were statistically tested using the Chi-Square test.
Based on the test results that have been conducted, Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School students on average had breakfast habits that falls into the occasional category 43.52%, on average had normal nutritional status 56.47%, and the average level of learning concentration was good 57.64%. There was no relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status of students at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School (p=0.088), and there was a significant relationship between breakfast habits and students' learning concentration at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School (p=0.000).
