PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERORIENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TPS UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian dilakukanmbertujuan untuk mengetahui kepraktisan, keefektifan pengembanganmLKPD berorientasi model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS untuk pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. LKPD dikembangkan untuk memperkuat konsep materi yang telah dimiliki siswa. Dalam pembelajaran IPA guru biasanya menggunakan LKPD penemuan, yaitu siswa diminta untuk melakukan, mengamati dan menganalisis. Dan pada akhirnya siswa dapat mengaitkan hasil pengamatan dengan konsep yang sedang dipelajari. Namun, ada beberapa materi yang tidak bisa menggunakan LKPD penemuan ini. Salah satunya yaitu materi sumber energi. Dengan bahan ajar seperti buku siswa yang memiliki materi terbatas, guru dapat memberikan siswa LKPD yang bersifat penguatan. Dalam hal ini peneliti mengembangkan LKPD dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS (Think Pair Share) guna membuat siswa aktif berdiskusi dengan temannya untuk memperoleh pengetahuan.  

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development (R&D). Populasi penelitiannini adalah siswarkelas IVA SDN Lidah Kulon IV Surabaya. Sampel yang digunakan sebagai uji skala kecil yaitu 6 siswa dan sebagai uji skala luas yaitu 22 siswa kelas IVA. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 3 cara yaitu angket, observasi, dan tes. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi, lembar observasi untuk mengetahui kepraktisan LKPD dan lembar respon siswa dan hasil belajar untuk mengetahui keefektifan LKPD. LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid setelah divalidasi oleh ahli dengan presentase 85,4% kepraktisan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh 86% dan keefektifan hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.

Abstract

This studyhaims to determine the feasibility of developing worksheet based think pair share learning model for science learning of fourth grade Primary School. The developed worksheet to support the concept lesson by students. In science learning the teacher usually uses the worksheet discovery, namely students are asked to do, observe and analyze. And in the end students can associate the results of observations with the concepts being studied. However, there are some materials that cannot use the worksheet of this invention. One of them is energy sources. With teaching materials such as books for students who have limited material, the teacher can provide strengthening worksheet students. In this case the researcher developed the worksheet using the TPS (Think Pair Share) learning model to make students actively discuss with their friends to gain knowledge.

Type of research which is used Research and Development (R&D). The populationhof this studyfis the fourth grade of SDN Lidah Kulon IV Surabaya. The sample is used as a small-scale trial that is 6 students of class IVA and as a large-scale trial is 22 students of class IVA. Data collection uses with 3 method are questionnaires, observations, and tests. While the instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets to determine the practicality of the worksheet and student response sheets and learning result to determine the effectiveness of the worksheet. The developed worksheet is valid with the percentage of 85,4%, the practicality of learning implementation achieves 86%, and the effectiveness of the learning outcomes become significant increase.
