DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA IN SCIENCE LEARNING MATERIAL FOR CHANGING THE FORM OF OBJECTS IN GRADE 4 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia interaktif materi “Perubahan Wujud Benda” sebagai salah satu sumber belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN Hargomulyo 2 dengan mendeskripsikan keefektifan, kepraktisan dan validitas dari produk multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan.
Penelitian pengembangan produk multimedia interaktif ini mengadaptasi dan memodifikasi langkah pelaksanaan pengembangan dari Borg dan Gall yang kemudian dikutip dalam buku Sugiyono, 2009. Langkah pengembangan yang dilakukan peneliti, yaitu (1) Pengumpulan informasi awal. (2) Perencanaan pengembangan multimedia. (3) Pengembangan produk multimedia interaktif. (4) Bentuk produk awal multimedia interaktif. (5) Validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. (6) Revisi 1 hasil penilaian ahli materi dan ahlmi media. (7) Validasi oleh guru (8) Revisi 2 hasil penilaian guru. (9) Uji pelaksanaan lapangan. (10) Hasil produk akhir multimedia interaktif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, angket dan observasi, Kelayakan produk didasarkan pada hasil penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, guru pengampu kelas dan siswa sebagai pengguna. Data hasil angket ahli dan siswa dianalisis dengan konversi skala lima.
Hasil penilaian dari ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata skor 4,54 dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil penilaian dari ahli media mendapatkan rata-rata skor 4,75 dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil penilaian dari guru pengampu kelas mendapatkan rata- rata skor 4,6 dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik” dan rata-rata pada uji pelaksanaan lapangan adalah 4,41 dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Sehingga secara keseluruhan produk multimedia interaktif hasil pengembangan dikatakan layak sebagai sumber belajar pembelajaran tematik materi “Perubahan Wujud Benda” untuk siswa kelas IV SDN Hargomulyo 2.
Berdasarkan Uji perbedaan Paired Samples T-test, ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pembelajaran IPA materi Perubahan Wujud Benda pada siswa sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan, t = -4.322, p < 0.05. Data postest mean = 83.4783, memiliki rata-rata lebih besar dari pretest mean = 70.0000. Ini berarti hipotesis diterima, yaitu multimedia interaktif efektif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran. Keefektifan multimedia interaktif dibuktikan dengan analisis statistik yang menyatakan bahwa nilai Sig < α yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 dan thitung > ttabel.
The purpose of this development research is to determine the feasibility of interactive multimedia products material "Changes in the Form of Objects" as one of the learning resources for students in grade IV SDN Hargomulyo 2 by describing the effectiveness, practicality and validity of the interactive multimedia products developed.
This interactive multimedia product development research adapts and modifies the development implementation steps of Borg and Gall which are then cited in Sugiyono's book, 2009. The development steps carried out by researchers, namely (1) Collection of initial information. (2) Multimedia development planning. (3) Development of interactive multimedia products. (4) The initial product form of interactive multimedia. (5) Validation by material experts and media experts. (6) Revision 1 of the result of the assessment of material experts and media ahlmi. (7) Validation by teachers. (8) Revision 2 of teacher assessment results. (9) Field implementation test. (10) The final product results of interactive multimedia. The research instruments used are interview guidelines, questionnaires and observations, product feasibility is based on the results of the assessment of material experts, media experts, class teachers and students as users. Base from expert and student questionnaires were analyzed with a five scale conversion.
The assessment results from material experts get an average score of 4.54 with the criteria of "Very Good". The assessment results from media experts get an average score of 4.75 with the criteria "Very Good". The assessment results from the class teacher get an average score of 4.6 with the criteria of "Very Good" and the average on the field implementation test is 4.41 with the criteria of "Very Good". So that over all the interactive multimedia product developed is said to be feasible as a learning resource for learning ematic material "Change of Objects" for grade IV students of SDN Hargomulyo 2.
Based on the Paired Samples T-test, there was a significant difference in learning science material for Changes in Objects in students before and after treatment, t = -4.322, p < 0.05. Data postest mean = 83.4783, has an average greater than pretest mean = 70.0000. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, that is, interactive multimedia is effective for students' ability to understand learning. The effectiveness of interactive multimedia is evidenced by statistical analysis which states that the Sig < α value is 0.000 < 0.05 and tcalculate > ttable.
