PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA AUGMENTED – ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DALAM MODEL INQUIRY BASED
LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN SELF REGULATED LEARNING MATERI SISTEM TATA SURYA KELAS X SMA
DEVELOPMENT OF AUGMENTED - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MEDIA IN INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING MODEL TO ENHANCE CRITICAL THINKING AND SELF-REGULATED LEARNING IN SOLAR SYSTEM TOPIC FOR 10TH GRADE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menguji kelayakan media augmented - artificial intelligence pada materi sistem tata surya, (2) Menguji keefektifan media augmented - artificial intelligence dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X di SMA Katolik Frateran Surabaya, dan (3) Menguji keefektifan media augmented - artificial intelligence dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) peserta didik kelas X di SMA Katolik Frateran Surabaya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 29 peserta didik kelas X NSC SMA Katolik Frateran Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan pre – experimental design dengan instrumen berupa tes, angket, dan lembar validasi.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Hasil validasi media oleh ahli menunjukkan rata-rata skor 3,90 (92,50 pada skala 100), sedangkan hasil validasi materi mencapai skor rata-rata 3,95 (93,75 pada skala 100), yang keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, hasil uji coba menunjukkan skor rata-rata 3,93 pada subjek perorangan (98,25 pada skala 100), 3,80 pada uji coba kelompok kecil (95,00 pada skala 100), dan 3,54 pada uji coba lapangan (88,50 pada skala 100). Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba tersebut, media pembelajaran ini dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. (2) Hasil uji keefektifan media pada kemampuan berpikir kritis menunjukkan rata-rata pre-test sebesar 61,89 meningkat menjadi 91,72 pada post-test, dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,79 (kategori sangat efektif). Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang mengindikasikan perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media. (3) Hasil uji keefektifan media pada kemampuan Self-Regulated Learning menunjukkan rata-rata pre-test sebesar 55,51 meningkat menjadi 87,58 pada post-test, dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,71 (kategori sangat efektif). Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang mengindikasikan perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media augmented - artificial intelligence yang dikembangkan melalui model Inquiry Based Learning layak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan Self-Regulated Learning siswa. Berikutnya, media augmented - artificial intelligence yang dikembangkan melalui model Inquiry Based Learning mutlak efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Terakhir, media augmented - artificial intelligence yang dikembangkan melalui model Inquiry Based Learning mutlak efektif dalam meningkatkan self regulated learning. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah media ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif yang relevan dengan era digital dan mampu mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih mendalam dan interaktif.
This study aims to: (1) Test the feasibility of augmented - artificial intelligence media in the solar system topic, (2) Test the effectiveness of augmented - artificial intelligence media in improving critical thinking skills of 10th grade students at SMA Katolik Frateran Surabaya, and (3) Test the effectiveness of augmented - artificial intelligence media in enhancing self-regulated learning (SRL) skills of 10th grade students at SMA Katolik Frateran Surabaya.
This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model. The study subjects consist of 29 Grade 10 NSC students at SMA Katolik Frateran Surabaya. A pre-experimental design was used with instruments including tests, questionnaires, and validation sheets.
The findings of this study are as follows, (1) The validation results from experts indicate an average media score of 3.90 (92.50 on a 100-point scale) and an average material score of 3.95 (93.75 on a 100-point scale), both categorized as highly feasible. Additionally, trial results revealed an average score of 3.93 in individual trials (98.25 on a 100-point scale), 3.80 in small group trials (95.00 on a 100-point scale), and 3.54 in field trials (88.50 on a 100-point scale). Based on the validation and trial results, the instructional media is deemed feasible for use in supporting learning activities. (2) The effectiveness test results for critical thinking skills showed an increase in the pre-test average score from 61.89 to a post-test average score of 91.72, with an N-Gain of 0.79 (highly effective category). A paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference before and after using the media. (3) The effectiveness test results for Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) showed an increase in the pre-test average score from 55.51 to a post-test average score of 87.58, with an N-Gain of 0.71 (highly effective category). A paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference before and after using the media.
The conclusion of this study is that the augmented reality and artificial intelligence (AR-AI)-based instructional media developed through the Inquiry-Based Learning model is feasible for enhancing students' critical thinking skills and Self-Regulated Learning. Furthermore, the AR-AI-based media is highly effective in improving critical thinking skills and SRL. The implications of this research suggest that the media can serve as an innovative learning alternative relevant to the digital era, promoting deeper and more interactive learning experience.
