Analisis Pemahaman Konsep Siswa SMP  Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS  Dengan Menggunakan Metode Certainty Of Response Index

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap 

kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, dan kebudayaan perkembangan masyarakat Indonesia pada 

masa pra aksara KD 3.4 pada siswa kelas VII SMP Lab YDWP Unesa pada pembelajaran 

daring yang diukur dengan metode certainty of response index (cri). Penelitian membahas 

tentang permasalahan pemahaman konsep siswa tentang konsep sosial, konsep ekonomi, 

dan konsep kebudayaan pada masyarakat praaksara kelas VII melalui pembelajaran daring. 

Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik analisis CRI 

diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut dari konsep sosial jawaban benar CRI rendah terdapat 100% 

(tidak mengetahui konsep), jawaban salah CRI rendah terdapat 42,8% (tidak memahami 

konsep), dan jawabansalah CRI tinggi tedapat 57,1% (miskonsepsi). Dari konsep ekonomi 

jawaban benar CRI rendah terdapat 100% (tidak mengetahui konsep), jawaban salah CRI 

rendah terdapat 80,9% (tidak memahami konsep), dan jawaban salah CRI tinggi tedapat 

19,4% (miskonsepsi). Dari konsep kebudayaan jawaban benar CRI rendah terdapat 100% 

(tidak mengetahui konsep), jawaban salah CRI rendah terdapat 66,6% (tidak memahami 

konsep), dan jawabansalah CRI tinggi tedapat 33,3% (miskonsepsi). Jadi rerata dari semua 

konsep tersebut dari jawaban benar CRI rendah terdapat 100% (tidak mengetahui konsep), 

jawaban salah CRI rendah terdapat 52,3% (tidak memahami konsep), dan jawabansalah CRI 

tinggi tedapat 47,6% (miskonsepsi).

This study aims to analyze the understanding of students' concepts of social, economic, and 

cultural life in the development of Indonesian society in the pre-literate period Basic 

Competence 3.4 in grade VII students of YDWP Lab Unesa Junior High School in online learning 

as measured by the certainty of response index (cri) method. ). The research discusses the 

problem of understanding students' concepts of social concepts, economic concepts, and 

cultural concepts in the seventh grade literacy community through online learning. By using 

quantitative descriptive research methods and CRI analysis techniques, the following results are 

obtained from the social concept of low CRI correct answers there are 100% (don't know the 

concept), low CRI wrong answers are 42.8% (don't understand the concept), and high CRI 

wrong answers are found. 57.1% (misconceptions). From the economic concept, the correct 

answer with low CRI is 100% (don't know the concept), the wrong answer with low CRI is 

80.9% (don't understand the concept), and the wrong answer with high CRI is 19.4% (misconception). From the concept of culture, the correct answers with low CRI are 100% (don't 

know the concept), 66.6% low CRI wrong answers (don't understand the concept), and 33.3% 

high CRI incorrect answers (misconceptions). So the average of all these concepts from the low 

CRI correct answers were 100% (don't know the concept), the low CRI wrong answers were 

52.3% (don't understand the concept), and the high CRI wrong answers were 47.6% 

(misconceptions).
