PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TRAINER SISTEM PENGISIAN MENGGUNAKAN BEBAN
DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA CHARGING SYSTEM TRAINER USING LOAD
Media pembelajaran trainer yang digunakan saat ini pada mata kuliah Praktik Kelistrikan Otomotif khususnya pada materi sistem pengisian di prodi S-1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin di Universitas Negeri Surabaya masih fokus membahas sistem pengisian saja, sehingga mahasiswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi sistem pengisian yang sama dengan kondisi real yang ada di mobil. Maka peneliti ingin mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa trainer sistem pengisian menggunakan beban dengan prosedur tertentu yang sesuai dengan sasaran yang ingin dicapai.
Metode penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) dengan empat tahap pengembangan. Penelitian dan pelaksanaan dilakukan di Prodi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Surabaya pada mahasiswa angkatan 2023 tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Instrumen yang digunakan guna mengukur kevalidan dan respon peserta didik menggunakan angket untuk dosen ahli serta menggunakan angket respon mahasiswa.
Hasil penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran trainer sistem pengisian menggunakan beban yang telah divalidasi dan dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran dengan skor validasi 3,88 yang termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Valid. Hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap media trainer sistem pengisian menggunakan beban dinyatakan Sangat Baik yang memperoleh skor 3,88, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa trainer sistem pengisian menggunakan beban sangat layak serta sangat baik apabila digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada materi sistem pengisian.

The learning media trainer used at this time in the Automotive Electrical Practice course, especially in the material of charging systems in the S-1 Mechanical Engineering Education study program at Surabaya State University, still focuses on discussing the charging system only, so that students have difficulty in understanding the charging system material which is the same as the real conditions in the car. So the researcher wants to develop learning media in the form of a charging system trainer using a load with certain procedures that are in accordance with the objectives to be achieved.
The research method uses the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) with four stages of development. Research and implementation were carried out at the Surabaya State University Mechanical Engineering Education S1 Study Program for students of class 2023 in the 2024/2025 academic year. The instrument used to measure validity and learner response uses a questionnaire for expert lecturers and uses a student response questionnaire.
The results of this study are in the form of a charging system trainer learning media using a load that has been validated and declared feasible to use for learning with a validation score of 3.88 which is included in the Very Feasible category. The results of student responses to the charging system trainer media using the load were declared Very Good which obtained a score of 3.88, so it can be stated that the learning media in the form of a charging system trainer using a load is very feasible and very good if used in the learning process, especially in charging system material.
