Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran virtual lab pada meteri kimia unsur (golongan halogen) yang layak ditinjau dari validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Model penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan 4-P yang terdiri tahap Pendefinisian, Perencanaan, Pengembangan, dan Penyebaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan sampai tahap Pengembangan, dan dilakukan uji coba terbatas sebanyak 12 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Krian untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifan media pembelajaran virtual lab. Validasi media pembelajaran virtual lab dibagi dua kriteria yakni validitas isi dan validitas kontruk. Pada validasi mengunakan lembar validasi virtual lab. Pada validitas isi memperoleh nilai dengan rentang 81% - 100% dengan kategori sangat valid dan validitas konstruk memperoleh nilai dengan rentang 81% - 100% dengan kategori sangat valid. Pada uji kepraktisan media pembelajaran virtual lab dibagi dua penilaian dari hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dan hasil angket respon siswa. Pada kepraktisan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan lembar angket respon siswa. Pada hasil observasi aktivitas siswa memperoleh persentase 94,44% diintepretasikan sangat praktis, sedangkan hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh persentase 91,67% yang diintepretasikan sangat praktis. Pada keefektifan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes hasil belajar. Hasil keefektifan media pembelajaran virtual lab ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa yang mendapatkan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 91,67% siswa berada di kelas dan 100% siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar dengan nila n – Gain dalam kriteria “sedang” ataupun “tinggi”.Dari perolehan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran virtual lab pada materi kimia unsur (golongan halogen) yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia unsur (golongan halogen).

This study aims to describe the results of the development of virtual lab learning media on elemental chemical elements (halogen elements) that are feasible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research model used is the 4-P development model which consists of defining, planning, developing, and distributing. This research was carried out until the Development stage, and limited trials were conducted as many as 12 students of class XI Krian 1 High School to find out the practicality and effectiveness of virtual lab learning media. The validation of virtual lab learning media is divided into two criteria, namely content validity and contract validity. In validation, use the virtual lab validation sheet. The content validity obtained values with a range of 81% - 100% with very valid categories and construct validity obtained values with a range of 81% - 100% with very valid categories. In the practicality test of the virtual lab learning media divided into two assessments of the observations of student activities and the results of student questionnaire responses. On the results of observations the activities of students obtained a percentage of 94.44% interpreted very practically, while the results of student questionnaire responses obtained a percentage of 91.67% interpreted very practically. On effectiveness using research instruments in the form of learning outcomes test sheets. The results of the effectiveness of virtual lab learning media in terms of learning outcomes of students who get classical completeness of 91.67% of students are in class and 100% of students experience increased learning outcomes with value n - Gain in the criteria of "moderate" or "high". It can be concluded that the virtual lab learning media on the chemical elements (halogen groups) that were developed were deemed fit to be used as learning media for elemental chemistry (halogen elements).
