PERAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU

ABSTRAK

Artikel ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan melalui hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan tema penelitian. Proses analisis yang dilakukan adalah data yang telah terkumpul dan terklasifikasi sesuai dengan rumusan masalah ini akan dikaji secara kualitatif dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi yang kemudian dari hasil analisis dan interpretasi ini akan digunakan dalam pengambilan kesimpulan yang akan dilengkapi dengan saran. Hasil dari kajian artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan supervisi akademik jika dijalankan dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan konteks dan kebutuhan yang ada dilapangan mulai dari latar belakang pengadaan kegiatan supervisi ini berdasarkan realitas masalah yang dihadapi guru, kemudian dalam proses baik perencanaan hingga pelaksanaan ini melibatkan guru yang  bersangkutan karena pada akhir dari kegiatan supervisi ini keberhasilannya bermuara pada peningkatan kualitas program pembelajaran yang mana gurulah sebagai pelakunya maka supervisi akademik ini sangat bisa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru.

ABSTRACT

This scientific article aims to describe the role of academic supervision in improving the professional competence of teachers. The research method used is literature study through the results of previous studies that are relevant to the research theme. The analysis process carried out is the data that has been collected and classified according to the formulation of this problem will be studied qualitatively and analyzed using content analysis which then from the results of this analysis and interpretation will be used in making conclusions which will be equipped with suggestions. The results of the study of this article indicate that academic supervision activities if carried out properly and correctly in accordance with the context and needs that exist in the field starting from the background of holding these supervision activities based on the reality of the problems faced by the teacher then in the planning and implementation process involves the teacher because at the end of this supervision activity its success leads to improving the quality of learning programs in which the teacher is the culprit, this academic supervision is very able to improve the professional competence of teachers.
