Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Manajemen Strategis Boarding School di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo, yang meliputi: (1) Bagaimana perencanaan strategis boarding school di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo, (2) Bagaimana implementasi strategis boarding school di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo, dan (3) Bagaimana evaluasi strategis boarding school di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni kondensasi data, penyajian data (display data), dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian mengenai Manajemen Strategis Boarding School di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perencanaan strategis boarding school di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo dilakukan melalui kegiatan perumusan latar belakang, perumusan visi misi dan tujuan, penyusunan rencana strategis, mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, (2) Implementasi strategis boarding school di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo meliputi kegiatan penentuan kebijakan sekolah, pelaksanaan rekrutmen sumber daya manusia, pembagian dan pelaksanaan pekerjaan sesuai dengan TUPOKSI, melakukan pengembangan sumber daya manusia, tersedianya sarana dan prasarana, tersedianya anggaran serta implementasi strategi melalui budaya organisasi, (3) Evaluasi strategis boarding school di SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo menyusun instrumen evaluasi digunakan dalam melakukan kegiatan evaluasi, evaluasi dilakukan dengan dua model yaitu evaluasi secara langsung melalui rapat dan pengamatan dan evaluasi melalui pelaporan, evaluasi dilakukan oleh tim eksternal (Kemenag seksi pendidikan, pengawas sekolah dan komit) dan internal (warga sekolah yaitu kepala sekolah mengevaluasi civitas akademika dan guru mengevaluasi muridnya), tindak lanjut hasil evaluasi untuk perbaikan kedepannya.

This study aims to describe the strategic management of boarding schools at SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo, which includes: (1) How is the strategic planning of boarding schools at SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo, (2) How is the implementation of the strategic boarding school at SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo, and (3) How is the strategic evaluation of the boarding school at SMAK Seminari St. Yohanes Paulus II Labuan Bajo. This study used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing.
The results of research on the strategic management of boarding schools at pointed out that (1) Strategic planning is carried out through background formulation activities, formulation of vision and mission and objectives, preparation of strategic plans, identifying internal and external factors, (2) Implementation of strategic boarding schools at includes the activities of determining school policies, carrying out human resource recruitment, distributing and implementing work in accordance with the TUPOKSI, carrying out human resource development, providing facilities and infrastructure, providing budgets and implementing strategies through organizational culture, (3) Strategic evaluation boarding school at compiled evaluation instruments used in carrying out evaluation activities, evaluation was carried out in two models, namely direct evaluation through meetings and observations and evaluation through reporting, evaluation was carried out by external teams (Ministry of Religion education section, school supervisors and committees) and internal (school members, namely the principal evaluates the academic community and the teacher evaluates his students), and follow-up on the results of the evaluation for future improvement.
