Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengembangkan model pembelajaran Investigation Based Sceintific Collaborative (IBSC) untuk melatihkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa, 2) mendeskripsikan valiiditas model IBSC, 3) mendeskripsikan kepraktisan model IBSC, dan 4) mendeskripsikan keefektifan model IBSC. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D dengan desain pengembangan mengacu pada desain Borg&Gall. Penelitian menghasilkan model pembelajaran IBSC yang dirancang secara by design untuk memfasilitasi terjadinya ketergantungan positif di antara siswa. Model IBSC memiliki lima sintaks yaitu 1) Motivasi dan Orientasi Permasalahan, 2) Investigasi Kolaboratif Sharing Task, 3) Presentasi/menyajikan, 4) Investigasi Kolaboratif Jumping Task, dan 5) Evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, didapatkan modus kategori untuk validitas konstruk maupun isi berada pada kriteria sangat valid. Keterlaksanaan langkah pembelajaran model IBSC 100 % dengan kategori minimal baik. Aktivitas siswa yang di amati meningkat dan memiliki kategori baik, sehingga model IBSC dapat dinyatakan praktis. Kendala yang muncul dapat di atasi sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan sesuai harapan. Hal ini menunukkan Model IBSC Praktis untuk diterapkan. Hasil Uji t menyatakan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara proporsi ketuntasan awal dan akhir pada semua kelas uji coba I (terbatas) dan uji coba II (luas) dan berpengaruh cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi maupun kolaborasi siswa. Hasil Uji anova terhadap n-gain menunjukkan model IBSC berpengaruh sama terhadap semua kelas uji coba. Pencapaian ketuntasan KD kelas mencapai antara 80 %-90% pada kelas uji coba. Hal tersebut menunjukkan keefektifan model. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dinyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran IBSC yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa. Hal ini berarti model pembelajaran IBSC dapat diimplementasikan.

This study aims to 1) develop an Investigation Based on Scientific Collaboratition (IBSC) learning model to facilitate students' communication and collaboration skills, 2) describe the validity of the IBSC learning model, 3) describe the practicality of the IBSC learning model, and 4) describe the effectiveness of the IBSC learning model. This development research was referred to the design and development of Borg & Gall. The developed IBSC learning model was designed to facilitate the occurrence of positive dependencies among students. The IBSC learning model has five syntaxes, namely 1) Motivation and Problem Orientation, 2) Collaborative Investigation on Sharing Tasks, 3) Presentation/presenting, 4) Collaborative Investigation on Jumping Tasks, and 5) Evaluation. The validation process showed that the category mode for construct and content validity were in very valid criteria. The implementation of the learning steps of the IBSC learning model was 100% with a good minimum category. The observed activity of students increased and had a good category, so that the IBSC learning model can be declared as a practical learning model. The constraints during the learning model implementation could be overcame well so that the teaching learning process can be held as expected. The t-test results stated that there was a significant difference between the percentage of initial and final learning outcome completeness during the trial and during the implementation of learning model. This results reflected that there was an effective effect in improving students' communication and collaboration skills. The ANOVA test revealed that IBSC model had the same effect on all classes tested based on the n-gain value. The achievement of learning outcome completeness (based on the basic competency) reached between 80%-90%, which showed also the effectiveness of the implemented-learning model. Based on the analyzed data could be concluded that that the developed IBSC learning model was valid, practical and effective to facilitate students' communication and collaboration skills. This means that the IBSC learning model can be implemented well.
