Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris materi Recount Text pada siswa di Mts Model Hasanudin. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 35 siswa. Peneliti melakukan preliminary study pada sekolah yang akan dijadikan tempat penelitian. Masalah yang terjadi siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi pelajaran dikarenakan media dan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru tidak sesuai dengan kondisi ideal yang seharusnya terjadi. Berdasarkan analisis dari potensi dan masalah yang ada, peneliti mengembangkan media (CALL) Computer Assisted Language Learning pada materi Recount Text.
Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick and Carey (2001). Hasil yang diperoleh dari validasi kelayakan media pada segi isi diperoleh skor 81,48% memiliki kategori sangat layak dan pada segi sajian media diperoleh skor 77,77 memiliki kategori cukup layak. Secara keseluruhan validasi kelayakan media memperoleh skor 79,62% sehingga dapat disimpulkan media yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori layak. Pada tahapan uji perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh skor kelayakan yang tinggi. Berdasarkan data ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik semuanya tuntas dalam mengerjakan tugas dengan presentasi skor 97,14% pada Kompetensi Dasar 3.11 dan 4.11. Persentase keefektifan media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta sangat tinggi. Jika dicocokkan dengan tabel intepretasi skor, dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran sangat efektif berdasar nilai hasil belajar peserta didik.

This research is a research and development project that aims to produce computer-assisted language learning (CALL) learning media products for English subjects with Recount Text material for students at Mts Model Hasanudin. The test subjects in this study were 35 students of class VIII. Researchers conduct a preliminary study on the school that will be used as a place of research. The problem that occurs is that students have difficulty understanding the subject matter because the media and learning methods used by the teacher are not in accordance with the ideal conditions that should occur. Based on the analysis of the potential and existing problems, the researcher developed a Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) media on the Recount Text material.
This research and development uses the Dick and Carey (2001) model. The results obtained from the validation of the media feasibility in terms of content obtained a score of 81.48% having a very decent category and in terms of media presentation a score of 77.77 had a fairly decent category. Overall the media feasibility validation obtained a score of 79.62% so it can be concluded that the developed media is included in the feasible category. At the stage of individual testing, small group trials, and large group trials obtained a high feasibility score. Based on the data on the completeness of the learning outcomes of students, all of them were completed in doing the task with a score presentation of 97.14% in the Basic Competencies of 3.11 and 4.11. The percentage of the effectiveness of learning media based on participant learning outcomes is very high. If it is matched with the score interpretation table, it can be said that the learning media is very effective based on the value of student learning outcomes.
