ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa lembar kegiatan siswa berbasis discovery learning pada materi tekanan zat cair. LKS yang dikembangkan digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMPN 1 Jombang yang layak berdasarkan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari enam tahapan yaitu penentuan potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, telaah dan revisi, validasi, dan uji coba produk. Proses uji coba dilakukan pada 28 siswa kelas VIII-I SMPN 1 Jombang dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu kevalidan lembar kegiatan siswa yang memperoleh nilai modus kelayakan 4 dengan kriteria sangat layak pada semua kriteria yang dinilai sehingga dapat dikatakan sangat valid. Kepraktisan lembar kegiatan siswa ditinjau dari aspek keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respon siswa. Pada aspek keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh modus skor keterlaksanaan 4 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan, hasil angket respon memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 90,5% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Keefektifan lembar kegiatan siswa ditinjau dari peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan memperoleh N-gain rata-rata sebesar 0,76 dengan kategori tinggi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa lembar kegiatan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi tekanan zat cair layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this reseacrh was to develop learning media in students worksheet based on discovery learning in liquid pressure lesson. The worksheets were developed was used to increase science process skills of students in SMPN 1 Jombang based on the validity, the practicability, and the effevtiveness. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method which consists of six steps, the determination of potential and problem, information collection, product design, review and revison, validation, and product trial. The process of trial was conducted in 28 students of grade 8th-I of SMPN 1 Jombang with a design study one group pretest-posttest design. The result of research showed that validity of students worksheet got modus value was 4 with criteria very feasible on all aspects so it could be said very valid. Practicality of students worksheet were viewed from implementation during the learning also got modus value was 4 with criteria very good. Meanwhile result of responses of students got average percentage 90,5% with criteria very good. Effectiveness of students worksheet were viewed from increasing of students’s science process skills. The Increasing of students’s science process skills got average N-gain 0,76 in high categories. It could be concluded that the students worksheet based on discovery learning as the learning media in the liquid pressure lesson is feasible used in learning based on the validity, the practicability, and the effectiveness.
