Analysis of Critical Thinking Skills Through Guided Inquiry Learning Model on Reaction Rate Materials
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis peserta didik pada materi Laju Reaksi melalui Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Taman menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase, mean, n-gain, dan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Rata-rata persentase penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing yang dilaksanakan secara bertahap 1,2,3,4,5 dan 6 secara berturut-turut adalah 94,17%; 98,61%; 100%; 98,96%; 100%; dan 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik, (2) Persentase aktivitas peserta didik yang terlibat aktif dan relevan dengan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing adalah 94,45% pada pertemuan I dan 97,78% pada pertemuan II, (3) Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis peserta didik lengkap pada semua komponen yang diujikan yaitu interpretasi, inferensi, analisis, dan penjelasan dengan perolehan skor n-gain rata-rata 0,82; 0,84; 0,77; dan 0,91, dan (4) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis peserta didik.
This study aimed to analyze students' Critical Thinking Skills on the Reaction Rate materials through the Guided Inquiry Learning Model. This study was conducted in SMAN 1 Taman used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data obtained were analyzed using the percentage, mean, n-gain, and t-test techniques. The research result shows that (1) The average percentage implementation of Guided Inquiry Learning Model syntax executed in phases 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 in a row was 94.17%; 98.61%; 100%; 98.96%; 100%; and 100% with excellent criteria, (2) the percentage of students' activities who are actively involved and relevant to Guided Inquiry Learning Model was 94.45% at a meeting I and 97.78% at meeting II, (3) students' Critical Thinking Skills are complete in all components tested, namely interpretation, inference, analysis, and explanation with an average gain score of 0.82; 0.84; 0.77; and 0.91, and (4) there is a significant difference in the results of Critical Thinking Skills between before and after being given a Guided Inquiry Learning Model. The results showed that the Guided Inquiry Learning Model was effective in improving students' Critical Thinking Skills.
