PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH MATA PELAJARAN INSTALASI PENERANGAN LISTRIK KELAS XI TITL DI SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA
DEVELOPMENT OF A PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODULE OF ELECTRIC LIGHTING INSTALLATION CLASS XI TITL AT SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA

This study aims to develop an electric lighting installation module using a problem-based learning model. The feasibility of the module is reviewed on the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research instrument consisted of an assessment of the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and responses of students and teachers. Pretest-posttest experiments were conducted on 28 students of class XI TITL 1 SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research. The results of the validity of the module obtained an average value of 82.78% (very valid). The results of the practicality of the module on the results of the 3 teacher response questionnaires obtained an average value of 82.11% and the results of the 28 student response questionnaires obtained an average value of 94.41% (very practical). The results of the effectiveness obtained the average pretest value of 59.28 and the posttest average value of 85.17. In the skill aspect, the average value is 85.82 and the attitude aspect is the average value is 84.28. In the aspect of knowledge, the data from the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test obtained a significance level of 0.072 at the pretest, at the posttest a significance level of 0.69 was obtained. The data obtained a significance of > 0.05 which means the data is normally distributed. Homogeneity test obtained a significance level of 0.871> 0.05 (homogeneous). The results of the Paired Samples Test T test obtained a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the pretest-posttest mean values. It can be concluded that the module is very effectively used in the student learning process in the subject of electric lighting installations. The results of this study can be used as a consideration for schools to improve student learning outcomes through module development.
